People actually like that godawful MKDA design? That has to be the shittiest design any character in any MK ever got imo. I couldn't take Reptile serious after that. I prefer NO Reptile at all over that design.

For me its his MK4 model from the waist up over all his other models, so I would like to see something in that direction. They just need to redesign his lower bodypart.

I wish the variations idea would allow for both versions of the character, but I tend to doubt that could happen.

I prefer his human form with lizard like features, but I also think it'd be cool for him to have a fully human face (that he's grown) that he rips off in his intro before putting his lower mask on.

It would be cool if he had a different form for each variation.........

Variation A - Human

Variation B - Hybrid

Variation C - Full blown lizard (just don't make him look like Reptar like in DA)

Well as far as game play look goes, I prefer the human look. But I DO want to see his true form in fatalities, story mode, and junk.

Keep him scaly, keep the lizard eyes, keep the reptilian claws, and just give him more of a flesh colored tone...and a slightly more humanized face. Just so he'll look like less of a fool when and IF he actually talks. *cough*Baraka*cough*

I want a human Reptile and his battle damage shows his green skin and scales underneath. That would be the best IMO for this game, so many people want human and so many want a green scaly monster. I think it would be very very interesting looking to have his fake skin peel off to show his green skin. I honestly think this is the route they're going to go with him. And his alt be what he truly looks like underneath of course. Best of both worlds. And I want him more like a lizard than a snake, I found his MK9 movements and attitude too snake like. I want him very quick like a lizard, and not slithery and hissy like a snake.

Any look other than his Deadly Alliance shitty look I will definitely welcome.

I just don't ever want to see them devolving Reptile like that again, and having him just look so... stupid. You know, it'd be one thing had they made him actually use his tail for stuff but they didn't even bother doing that. Everything that he did in Deadly Alliance was just dumb.

It's like, "So Kahn is dead, and we tried making him team with Quan Chi before but we decided to kill him in his own ending. I don't feel like having him team up with him again because there's Shang Tsung and Kano... Let's just give him something so crappy that will help create a story for the next game."

Some might not be fond of this, but here it goes. Take Lizard Man's design from The Amazing Spider-Man movie and modify/revamp it. Give him (Reptile) an outfit, but keep him maskless.

My ideal Reptile outfit would be take MKDA Reptile, replace the head with MK4 Reptile and lose the tail. I like the clothing MKDA was wearing in his primary, but that head and tail were ridiculous.

Also, Chameleon is apparently in the picture at some point during the prologue of MKX. And let's not forget that they're already on the course to rewriting most of the canon from the 3D era.

There's two reasons he doesn't need to look like the goofy MKDA lizard.

Both, to keep everyone happy.

I agree with those suggesting his form differs depending on the variation. The "devolved" variant (based on his MK:DA design), as I'll call it, should add tail-based specials to his moveset. He should be more aggressive in that state, and less of a sneaky and sophisticated type, which would mean no invisibility or force balls, but increased speed.

Maybe his head should look more like a raptor's (the actual dinosaur I mean, though they're actually called deinonychus) than a lizard's.

I hate human Reptile. Human Reptile is so boring. Moving away from his ninja origins was the best to happen to him and I love his MK4 design. He was frightening looking.

Human disuse is my favorite Reptile and always will be, but I really like that art somebody posted earlier, its like a perfect blend of human and reptilian IMO.

MK4 Reptile was best Reptile. MK4 Reptile alt was even better Reptile. MK9 Reptile was no good Reptile, MKDA Reptile was worse Reptile.

I'll also settle for human in disguise Reptile.

If I had it my way, reptile would be like he was in mkda, not human at all, with a weird fighting style like crab Kung fu.

Yeah sure, have him disguise himself as a human AGAIN even though we've been knowing his secret for 20 years. Just because. We're talking about a game with any type of creature imaginable in a fantasy universe where damn near anything can exist, but nah, more humans are cool. Even if they aren't real humans. Lizards aren't cool, humans pretending to be lizards are. Yep.

No more ninjas please, and the MK4 look should be set on fire.


Btw, there is no original form for Reptile. He always has his own body shape, only it degenerates in to a near quadruped state. MK9 got it somewhat right. Adjust the clothing on him and we are fine.
