They've probably done it because their netcode is crap as usual and probably unplayable for Trans-Atlantic connections.

This doesn't bode well for anyone - it's basically NRS saying 'Our netcode is shit again and we're trying to do damage limitations'.

1- People who bough the EU collector's edition and who live in Us are screwed!
2- If you have friends living in other continent might as well remove them from your frends list, coz you aint playing against them
3- Netcode is probably as bad as MK9 and injustice
