It is too much overkill imo. Not in the sense of being lethal, it is too majestic and over the top on the theatricality.

Been. But if Gods are going to do some abnormal X-Rays, then Shinnok better have The Hand grabbing the opponent like a shark out of water, sending them to Hell. While a bunch of undead stab the shit out of the opponent with swords and pikes.

They just continue to make Raiden even more of a badass! I mean from the moves they give him... Christ he's awesome! I definitely approve this new x-ray!

It's a little over the top but then again if Fujin (presumably) and Shinnok had X-rays as showy as this simply because they're gods/elder gods that'd be okay for me.

Leave Injustice stuff in Injustice. One-two superhero-like X-Rays are good, more than two - too much. MK is not an Injustice.

This is easily the best X-Ray in the game so far. It's absolutely godlike, and couldn't be more appropriate for the character. :D

Much improved over his initial x-ray. Sure, it has an Injustice flavor, but Raiden is a god, and this x-ray is quite godly. It is nice to see bad-ass Raiden again as he's been ho-hum for most sequels. That said, he will always be my main in MK1.

So I guess this confirmed characters will have multiple X-Rays? Or did NRS get rid of his first one and give him this new one?

Word on the street is Boon deconfirmed multiple xrays. So this one is thought to have replaced the old one. Sad really because multiple xrays would have been sweet.

Love the improvement. I actually think they could have done a bit more (or something else more damning) with it once he's got them up in the air but, it looks good from my chair.

I like the new one, suits the god of thunder well...
BUT THAT KICK from the first one was sooo epic, it had such brutal impact with the sligth pause... Hope they give it to someone else, like they gave mileena the knee to the jaw from johnny cage in 2011.
(Or was it mileena all along, they just replaced the punch with the stabbing, i can't recall)
