NRS sure has gone all in with the lightning effects this time.
The only problem that I have with the intros, as of now, is that some of them, like Kotal's and Raiden's, are too overly-grandiose in comparison to the others. Most of the characters just walk in on the stage and then you see these two dudes just appear out of nowhere with a puff of smoke or a bolt of lightning. Of course, these intros fit them, but I was actually hoping for Cassie to come out of a heli or some shit...

lol dont be jealous. That being said.. the helicopter idea is fucking badass.

Awesome intro, I love that you can see through the straw hat. NRS is pulling all the strings with this game graphically, I LOVE ITTTTT

I hope the winning poses are bad-ass like in MK2011, those really rocked! Especially some like Scorpions, Mileena's, Sub-Zero's and Cyrax.

I already seen the winning pose of Cassie and D'vorah, the D'vorah one was awesome with the spider legs + maggot pet, but the cassy-one was rather boring with the blowing of the steam from the gun...

Maybe every variation has its own winning pose?

Raiden is quoted as saying "thunder blots out the sun" basically confirming kotal is the god of sun. I also believe boon referred to him as an aztec sun god. What we are still unsure about is which realm he is a god of.

Great to see NRS putting as much detail and lighting in the characters. It is like a labour of love. With the camera more closer to the fighters they really come to life.

MK9's winning poses were ASS. MKX's are already WAY better.

I liked the "we can use shadows and sound effects to make it like jets are flying overhead" trick in Sonya's too.

I loved Scorpions, Mileena's, Reptiles, Sub-Zero's, Ermacs, Shang Tsungs, Quan Chi's, Jades, Noob Saibots, Strykers, Rains, Skarlets, Kenshi's, Cyrax, Johnny Cage, Sonya, Jax, and Shao Kahns winning poses.

All very good with their personalities. The others I didn't mentioned were kinda boring tho.

Im so excited for these intros. I've always wondered why MK never had Intros for characters when they entered the fight. In MK9 they touched upon it but it was still lacking. Now with Ed Boon confirming each character acknowledges the opponent and it looks like there may be different animations as well. Im just happy! its small stuff like this that makes the game that much more enjoyable for me That Raiden Intro is pretty bad ass though
