Lives were lost, but Raiden did save reality in MK9.

If he died he wouldn't go to Shinnok/Quan, that was an offer for an alliance that never came to be.

A slightly less Dark Raiden would be cool. Let us see him slowly transform, and don't make the costume that dramatic.

I would be ok with him dying, but I doubt it will happen.

The whole Elder God status thing is bullshit. Same thing happened in MK4-MKDA, it has no bearing wether the character can or cannot do anything.
And frankly this whole mentor thing with Raiden is bleh.


IF Raiden is to check out, fine, but at least let it be a tad more exalting to the character than a high heel to the throat.
