I didn't really find Moloch to be all that interesting, though. I kind of thought he was bland.

Drahmin's got loads of potential though. Maybe that's who Quan is showing old Moloch's head to.

It makes total sense. Moloch hates Quan Chi and wants to eat him. Shang Tsung had Moloch live in his palace in case Quan Chi tried to betray him. Guess that didn't turn out.

But in this timeline he has several of the most powerful warriors in the universe under his command. If he sees Moloch following him around he'll be all "I aiiiiin't havin' that shit!" and let his minions take care of him.

Laugh all you want, but if there was a game where Moloch would truly shine and kick some ass it would be MKX. I think they could've made him absolutely terrifying if they wanted too.

As I said before, a lot of past characters who once felt "out of place" in the MK world (Havik, Moloch, Drahmin, Nitara ect) would fit right at home in this game. Sucks none of them will get that chance, Well, Havik might.

I'm not too sure if Moloch has serious amount of fans in the first place.

His chances were next to nothing anyway and everyone knew it from the begining. But no, when he appears in such "cameo" (?), some people start whining "NRS shouldn't do this because it hurt feelings of fans of this characters". Yeah, sure.
I find laughable and pathetic that somebody could be seriously hurt over the fact that NRS included such cameo in the game.

Quan Chi can always ressurect Moloch as zombie atleast. But I'm wandering if NRS is 100% killing off some characters and take the game in the future, why would they kill mostly characters like Moloch who live for hundreds of years so they can use them in the future ?

In my opinion i think this is metal as shit. You get to really see how brutal Quan Chi is and how truly merciless he is under his calm collective demeanor. Its also funny as hell how they portray Moloch as this chump who is so weak and pathetic that Quan chi can kill him with ease and then teleport to a real fight. It does suck for the Moloch fans though, i know how they feel, i am a huge Rain fan after all.

Rain is not deconfirmed nor is there someone walking around with his head so there's that. Still, I think its pretty epic if its Moloch. It just shows Quan Chi means business about any threat. And lets be honest, Moloch has never been interesting in the slightest

Canaanite Baal-deity usually in conjuction with war, famine, as is the expression Moloch of war? Associqated with owls as originally intended in MKDA? No, that is not interesting in the least. The whole character had more personality than the garbage we got in 4.

The people upset about Moloch are baffling to me. Just because something was once part of MK doesn't mean it should be there in perpetuity. Moloch, like a lot of stuff from that era, was uninspired tripe. I'm just happy NetherRealm seems to be on the side of the fans that recognize how off base a lot of that stuff was. I love seeing Moloch in MKX because it shows some sort of tribute to that time period, but I'm happier to see it's his decapitated head. Beautifully symbolic, this is the new shit.

But most of that was just concept notes... it never happened in the game.

Well it kind of sucks to see his head being held by Quan Chi since I'm a Moloch fan, I was hoping for cameo of sorts but not this way!

It would be pretty awesome if it wasn't Moloch but some other oni but I do believe it is Moloch, which is fine because I'd trade Moloch for Sektor being in MKX any day of the week!
