Quan Chi is one of the best characters of the series. It's a shame he's connected to one of the worst characters, who is basically already confirmed for the next game. So good bye, Quan Chi.

However, if it was up to me, Quan Chi would stay. He's one of the few pre-MKDA characters I want back.

If Scorpy was to obliterate Quan Chi, it would be the end of them both as Scorpion can ascend to heaven knowing that his family and clan are avenged.
If the opposite happened, then Quan can now get mad power out of his rep of killing a ninja specter. He might finally get out of hell, and that means he becomes a big player again, and that might result in Quan becoming a boss again without Shang...

Scorpion won't reach the Heaven.
When he died, his soul was sent to Netherealm, because he was an assassin, and so, his soul had a bit of evil essence tainted within it.

Shang Tsung is THE mk sorcerer character. Quan Chi should die,
though i love his skin tone.

Although I agree with Nightcrow about Shang Tsung being a better sorcerer, I simply think of Quan Chi as too cunning and opportunistic to allow himself such a quick end... His feud with Scorpion should continue in the next game (and possibly intensify) but I could still add how Quan Chi meanwhile managed to become the ruler, or vice-ruler, of the Netherrealm. Why wouldn't he, he is capable of such goal, due to his intelligent and scheming personality...

i think that quan chi and shang are both great sorcerers and should stay. shang should come back as the old man he once was. kill off shujinko. but most of all, human smoke return along with mileena(veil or no veil).
