I hate Erron Black because he is an awful character but he is my main due to matching my play style.
Ugh...I don't like to whine, but since you made the thread...BAWL.
I think it's pretty bullshitty that there's a character whose combo leaves the opponent standing nose-to-nose with them, forced to guess high/low/throw or eat another ~35% combo, over and over and over again until you guess right. Most of these fights, I'm just a dummy standing there playing guessing games for the other person to have their fun.
I had one of these Inferno Scorpion vortex abusers rage-mail me today for winning and leaving without rematching. He went on to say that Sonya's "vortex" is a lot cheaper than Scorpion's (I think he meant her Overhead/Low string? Wha...?) Cuz that's the only way I can beat an Inferno Scorpion: Jump+1 to counter their goddamned jump-kicks-into-vortex, and rush them incessantly with her mix-up strings into hard knockdowns, while watching out for armored teleport wake-ups (into vortex, of course). Most of the time, one good hit from Scorpion and it's over, though.
I'm not claiming to be unchallenged in my savviness of the game's mechanics, but I think they need to do something to bring this constant abuse down a notch.

I'd run too after beating an Inferno Scorpion player because its just not worth it, he's cheap and the games are so one note and dull.
I mean Grand Master sub-Zero I dont mind losing a thousand times too because even if its tough there is a way to win the match is strategic, but inferno scoprion is just WTF!

Huh, I just beat an inferno Scorpion...using Sorcerer Quan Chi...as suggested...
And he was a pretty good Scorpion player too. Played four matches, and won twice...even as a very, VERY inexperienced Quan Chi player.
I still think inferno Scorpion needs a nerf. I think Demon's suggestion is realistic.

Cause, lets be honest. Scorpion already has a f2 overhead in each variation and he has plenty of low options e.g. b3 and ground demon from all distances. Giving him an overhead demon is just too much. That move comes out fast, does decent damage, and has a very similar animation to the ground demon which makes it impossible to react upon and leaves you with guessing.

Scorpion does not have the f2 overhead in Ninjutsu.

Yeah, my bad. I assumed his f2 dual swords was an overhead. Still, he has f4 in every variation now that I think of it. That means that next to his overhead JIP and JIK he has another three fucking overhead options in Inferno: f2 (15 startup), f4 (25 startup), and Minion Drop (all distances). Not to mention that his f4 is special cancellable.
