Looks cool of what we can see and if the full render was viewable, he would look "sick". He should be in MKX even if he is just DLC.

The font looks off and the model reminds me of the new Killer Instinct's style.

The body and the pose looks off and the head/mask looks silly, Sick arms though. Is that a Black Dragon tatoo on his shoulder? If it's a fake kudos on the detail.

Why the hell would Tremor have tubes running through him?

Guys on Gamefaqs stated the pic was posted on Twitter today yet uploaded to an online photo folder two days ago.

They appear to be some sort of hydraulic arm implants to give him you know... ground-smashy earthquake powers... Tremor powers.

And I honestly think cybernetic implants are entirely fitting of a Black Dragon character, and give his powers an actual source.

Were it real, I wouldn't mind it at all. Uniques him up from the other ninjas (which we know they like to do these days) and like Kano, Kabal and Hsu Hao, seems in line with Black Dragon/Red Dragon mentality. Ugly/Rugged black-market cybernetics that get the job done.

I'm not saying it's real by a damn sight... but if they do add another Black Dragon to MKX... I honestly wouldn't mind Tremor, and I am NOT one of those people that's been pushing for him for 10 years. But that said... Jarek blows. Kira and Kobra are eh, and shouldn't theoretically even have any connection in this continuity. I'd prefer Kabal didn't re-join them. If Kano needs a minion, I actually think this would be a good time for Tremor to step into the spotlight.

Tasia and Jarek's appearance in the comic would suggest the "Special Forces" Black Dragon crew is at least on Netherealm's radar... and honestly his cameo in the Vita challenge tower went over very well with fans. So I could see how the trial run might have upped his odds a little bit.

I also recall someone asking Boon on twitter if there were any new Ninjas in MKX, and Boon replying with "Define new?" ... Tremor would frankly, fall perfectly in line with that answer.

BUT again... I'm just speculating because speculating is fun. I'm not pushing Tremor one way or the other. I'd be fine with seeing him in, but surely don't need him to be either.

If thats the case and he takes the place of Rain, Smoke or Noob, there are going to be a lot of pissed off fans around these parts.

However, the pic has gotta be a fake. Apparently the guy uploaded it to the internet two full days before posting it on Twitter. Screams fake to me just by that account.

adding to what Gillbob said Let's not forget all the times where Boon was like "Wow look at this petition for Tremor, people must really want him" meanwhile no references to the super uncomfortable petition to have the guy from GWAR be put in the game just because he passed away.

I really don't see how that proves or disproves anything. I upload photos to imgur and photobucket all the time that I never expect anyone to see, just for the sake of showing my friends or something. And the guy who put it on gamefaqs doesn't claim to be the guy who posted it on twitter or the guy who posted it on imgur, as far as I can tell... just as I'm the guy who posted it here, but I didn't post it any of those three places, nor do I claim I did.

If it was theoretically something someone just stumbled upon on the internet, why does a gap of two days between it's first upload on imgur and it's eventual migration to twitter suggest any kind of shadiness? I don't get how that follows.

But it doesn't make sense for a Lin Kuei character. They steal kids with powers.

Saw this on the Gamefaqs board you mentioned and the general consensus was that the members think it's fake; and yeah it could be.

However, if it turned out not to be... Well I'd be fine with Tremor being in, after all Black Dragon isn't really a faction with just Kano in it so it needs a couple more members to be playable in the game.

Most likely are Jarek, Tasia and Tremor; possibly even Frost if she's playable in the game & doesn't join the Lin Kuei this time. Personally I'd be happy with any of them except for No Face, just the name alone irritates me.

As far as I'm aware, Tremor being a former Lin Kuei isn't something that ever made it into the canon of the games, and was just an idea Tobias had in his original plans for him that never developed.

Though I admit, I never actually played Special Forces, so I could be wrong. Most of my knowledge of Tremor is second hand from the internet.

But in any event, it's not like Tremor has an incredibly well-defined and highly fleshed out backstory that's set in stone here. Other than, "Brown Ninja. Black Dragon." They're pretty much wide open to do whatever the hell they want with the guy... especially in the new canon.

I mean there are people on Gamefaqs saying he can't be a Black Dragon because in his challenge tower missions he swears revenge against Kano... as if... ANYTHING that happens in the Challenge tower should be considered canon to begin with...

Well, the black dragon logo looks like the new logo shown in the factions war trailer... but I don't know what that is, it doesn't look like "classic Tremor" for sure, if it's real they seriously revamped him and probably added a lot of cybernetics on him to explain his powers.

It would make sense for more than 1 black dragon member to be in the game if their faction is important enough to get into the faction war and Tremor at least is more requested than Kira or Kobra who are actually despised by most of the kommunity (I actually like no face more but that's reaching too far).

The model looks really weird to be honest, those tubes and the spikes on the back, not really sure about this.
