5 years?? No.......I seriously doubt they worked on MKDA that long. in fact, I'm pretty sure they spent between 1.5-2 years on it. I mean think about it; MK SF came out in 2000, right? During the production of MK SF, John Tobias left Midway so John Vogel eventually became the main story guy.

So, all in all, they seem to never really have any more than like 2 years to get their games done. They need to probably spend 3 years on their games and have the know how to make the game good and to really put good quality into it.

you guys are saying that Mkd is nice and you are happy for that ,that's great,ok,till now I have played mkd online,thats too deep and sad,all my games worked online,execpt for Mkd,because it needs more speed or it's because of the distance or needs more shit to work,all I want is play mkd online and that was my dream,and same goes to mk7 when it comes,,,,,

To be honest MK:D online is boring. I couldnt wait to get the Network Adapter and get online to play MK:D. When i connected i was suprised. There is hardly ever any Players online and it does get tedious after a while, so you are not missing out on much.

Have they even started work on this game? to be honest usually they leak a little bit of info when they start the game i mean even before MKD was out there was screens of MKSM!
Mortal Kombat Unchained is supposed to be out in Feb but we have no info on that either!
To be honest i think they will wait till after new year to start this game and give us some info in Feb! and wont be released till December, so why not make it for the next gen systems??? as they all should be ut by then!!

Back to the topic though, if I had to venture a guess, I'd say that MK7 or Armageddon is still in the conceptual stages. They're probably building the engine for next gen consoles, deciding on characters, creating new characters, coming up with music, the overall ideas for the game, but I doubt they'll have anything in the way of pictures for a few months at least. My guess is still March at the earliest.

As for the Armageddon name, the word has become a colloquial, or familiar converational term in reference to the end of the world. While the words origin may not be correct in the way we use it in common speech today, the current meaning is still grasped by a vast majority of the population. So I see nothing wrong with using Armageddon as the title for the next MK game.

Hey Chrome, what's the origin of the term ragnarok? I know that it's a synonym for armageddon or the apocalypse, and that (I think) it comes from norse mythology, but how close is our perception to the true origin of the word? I'm just curious.

*Here's something to ponder though while we wait for MK7...What if the reason why MK7 will be the biggest MK game roster-wise is because there will be a create a character mode that allows you, in theory to create several characters. Ed wouldn't be lying, just misleading people. Thoughts?
