didnt know about this until now, why didnt NRS promote this on their twitter or facebook i wonder.

Most the people that say the first 3 MK games had the best soundtracks are just saying that because of nostalgia and the fact that those are still probably your fave MK games because those are the ones that made you MK fans. It doesn't matter if they made the best video game soundtrack in the history of mankind, for this, or any othe MK after it. You guys will still say it sucks and nothing compares to the originals. People nowadays just love to hate on anything new and/or different, no matter how good or bad it is. I loved the OG MK games, but I've never really particularly cared about the soundtrack/stage music. As a matter of fact, it was something that never really mattered much to me. They could have Justin Bieber in the background, and I wouldn't care, as long as the game was good and fun. Well, maybe Justin Bieber is stretching it a little, but you catch my drift. Lol.

As for the music I've heard in the videos that they've released for this game, so far.. I love it. It's the first time I've actually really caught myself noticing it and thinking, wow, I like the background music.

I agree with the op, that the MK movie theme song is the ultimate MK song, and will always be. That is a classic and I never get tired of it. It always pumps me up when I hear it.

Hopes for a badass metal guitar instrumental non-drumming version of "Chinese Ninja Warrior" to play in MKX for potential badass scenes like Kuai Liang taking back the Lin Kuei from Sektor or fighting Quan Chi and the Brotherhood as a throwback to MK: Mytholgies.
