I think it'll be a returning male from the good side, either Raiden if they want an iconic character or Fujin if they want to show off an improved MK4 character.

Tanya gets a boost from being the only MK4 outside of Quan Chi character to come back for a non Armageddon sequel. People are just more familiar with her is all.

Keep the male character(s) for the next reveal after this one. If Raiden is gonna be obvious of being in, I would like them to reveal Fujin, Reptile, Shinnok or a new male.

I saw that, I think he's trying to throw us off the scent. He hates Rain and as a DLC character, Rain had no story significance in MK9. It's possible I guess but I'd be highly, highly doubtful.

He would be foolish to not listen to the many many fans that crave for Rain.

He can fuck his pride for once and include a characters he hates.

We just got 3 female characters announced. You make it sound like there's a female drought.

I'll agree with you there, the confirmed roster is literally half and half right now. I wouldn't mind if the roster ended up actually being half-and-half, but I will say that of all the characters I personally think deserve to return, only about a fourth of them are female, and gender has nothing to do with it, it's just that there was already a lot more male characters to begin with, and the good/bad ratio of female characters is about the same as it is with the male characters, so there were just less that I liked proportionally.

With that being said, if NRS wanted to even out the roster, they could take some of the less popular female characters and give them a bit of overhaul; reach out to the fans with them and bring them up to par with the fan-favorites (both male and female).

Regardless, gender isn't a factor in the next character revelation for me. I wanna see a fan-favorite return, whether it's someone returning from MK9 or someone from MK4 or onward. Right now we're at two returning characters to three new ones. I'd like to even it our some. EDIT: I mean four. Forgot about Kotal Kahn.

Someone post the Rain hints. What do they say? Honest to god, I love Rain. I think they should unmask him though. He would benefit most, and they should have a masked alt for fans though.

I don't mind who it is, as long as it's someone that's all that I care about.

They need to unveil 4 returning characters this time around just to even it up.

Hopefully we'll get at least Raiden and Kitana revealed. That would make me pull a next day-first thing in the morning preorder like I did for MK9.
