I classify them as human (MKII, UMK3, MK9), Cyber (MK3), and Cyber-Demon (MKD). We haven't seen Enenra mode or something similar playable yet; I don't consider it the same as Cyber-Demon due to his robotic status at the time and/because of Noob's shadow contamination.

We will see Fujin. I've never been so sure. He is no eesponding to tweets about him and he deleted one that all but confirmed him. Plus boot 6 showed fujin's hair.

Disagree completely. The costumes are altered slightly between variation not complete wholesale changes to make it look like a different character.

If Smoke comes back, I hope he comes back as the human/enenra only and stays that way, never changing back. The reception Smoke got in MK9 was extremely positive. His story is just waiting to be expanded on since he never got a human storyline in the original timeline. We can get proper development of his character. What did Smoke ever do as a cyborg? Practically nothing. Self pitying bunch of bolts who for best part of a decade counted sheep in a dungeon then to be a tag partner? Lol.

NRS would have to more dumb than two thick planks stuck together with stupidglue to change Smoke into a cyborg. If it happens then Smoke goes back to the "do not give a care" catagory along like with most of the cast and it will be just Scorpion and Sareena left for me.





Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3's gameplay was a winning formula & they changed it.

Like I said, it would have no impact on the story at all, we could still have his human and/or Enenra form for the other two variations. The cyber variation would be a non-cannon form that has nothing to do with the story whatsoever, it would only be there as a nod to his past in the original timeline and something for the cyber fans to enjoy.

I also don't think it would be impossible for him to have development as a cyborg, its not his fault he was never given any. That is besides the point anyway since I don't want him to automated in story again, I was just saying it would be a cool non-cannon variation for his cyber fans.

I do think this would work better if he was DLC though.

Yeah, after they wasted two roster vacancies on characters who are supposed to be dead as shit, with more rumored to be on the way, I've been trying to keep my expectations low.

Honestly, man, at this point the only thing I'm still hoping against all hope for is Sareena.

Awhile back, Ed Boon posted a handful of pictures that spread out through the course of days/weeks as people wait for another reveal.

These Tweets and images over the time got people to assume Shinnok, Mileena, Shang Tsung, Ermac OR Johnny Cage was the next reveal.
Nope. Just Quan Chi.
No one saw it coming.

I'm thinking Ed Boon is going to troll people for an entire week with misleading hints.
