How many out of roster in MK9 (standard out of the box roster) did they reveal before the game released?

Around 23, not counting leaks or DLC. And they definitely kicked those reveals into overdrive during January and February.

Give me a Reiko or Tanya reveal and take my money!

They could show us a video footage to the Living Towers in action, I'm really curious to see how its will work this time, with the new technology and the next gen grafics.

Let's just pretend for a minute it will be something substantial like a character reveal.

Then if there really is a pattern with how they are releasing the characters. One for every chronological game. Then let's dial the expectations back to the MK2 cast.

Setting up the Enenra thing in MK9 and not following up on it would be fucking CRIMINAL. I can't even imagine how disappointing that would be.

It could also be Kenshi or Fujin too based off his other tweet about Fujin and him saying "Ah... eye C what U did there". The "eye" part doesn't make sense unless he's hinting at something or using misdirection to draw away attention from Fujin, otherwise he would have used "I".

Seriously. At this point I don't understand how anyone could want anything else when there's room for him to become something completely new and interesting.

I would like to see Smoke, I like human and cyber. I know it wouldn't really make sense since he didn't get automated in MK9 but Id love to see Cyber Smoke as one of his variations, it could be a non-cannon thing just for the fans to enjoy.

Story wise I can understand, however I fear what he's going to look like.

I like Smoke's character but I don't think he ever had a great design, he's always looking like a different and weird character every game.

Like Reptile, they seem to struggle to find what he should look like. The MKD design was the worst of the bunch to me, so I hope it's nothing like that.

Disagree completely. The costumes are altered slightly between variation not complete wholesale changes to make it look like a different character.

If Smoke comes back, I hope he comes back as the human/enenra only and stays that way, never changing back. The reception Smoke got in MK9 was extremely positive. He looked great AND had the gameplay to match. He was played more than "fan favourites" like Kitana, Mileena, Shang Tsung and Kung Lao. Why change a winning formula?

His story is just waiting to be expanded on since he never got a human storyline in the original timeline. We can get proper development of his character. What did Smoke ever do as a cyborg? Practically nothing. Self pitying bunch of bolts who for best part of a decade counted sheep in a dungeon then to be a tag partner? Lol.

NRS would have to more dumb than two thick planks stuck together with stupidglue to change Smoke into a cyborg. If it happens then Smoke goes back to the "do not give a care" catagory along like with most of the cast and it will be just Scorpion and Sareena left for me.

Reveal wise, I honestly want Fujin, Hotaru, Reiko, Shinnok, Tanya, Ashrah, Havik, or a new character.

There are plenty of veterans I want to see return, but the last five reveals have consisted of veterans.

Give us some new blood or a character that didn't have a chance to shine.

Well let's see, we had him as a Cyborg, Enera and Human. Want something completely new you say? How about his Demon form? I'm sure they can incorporate that into MKX.

And why in the hell would he also become a cyborg in the reboot timeline as well? I see people suggesting that as his variation, and it baffles me.
