Here's a few more of mine.
Noob Saibot - Throws about 10 shurikens into the opponent like in his MKD fatality. Then leaps into the air and does a drop kick that sends them flying in.
Baraka -(for implaing death traps only) Performs first part of his MKD fatality 1 but instead of ripping out the torso he knocks them off and when the opponent gets impaled the limbs fall off. (this could work for the Falling Cliffs,Golden Desert,Outworld Spire, etc
Kung Lao - (for acid/lava/multiple spike death traps only) Uppercuts opponent above the death trap and right before they fall below him he throws his razor hat and it slices them in half leaving the two peices to fall
Johnny Cage - punches the opponent hard in the face and when they put up their hands to guard their face does a split punch. Then does an uppercut and right before they hit the ground a Shadow kick that knocks them in
What do you think? have potential? I think it would be a great way to finish opponents cuz just uppercutting them in gets a little boring.

Well I think that the character death traps need to have some kind of relation to the arena itself. Like you can't just throw Baraka into The Falling Cliffs. It has to be some reason that the character would be there. This is why I chose a Shao Kahn death trap for his throne room.
So for a Shinnok's Spire one, perhaps Shinnok can come and blast them with some powerful magic or something?

That's really not what I ment. It would be fatalities, but instead of killing them by hand you knock them into a death trap to finish them off. Instead of just punching them in. So the arena wouldn't really have anything to do with the character. I like your idea though too. I could definetly see both as finishers in future MK games.

What do you mean by "knocking them in rather than just punching them in"? Aren't they the same?

I just say it like that because in these type of things you could get knocked in from punches, kicks, specials, and much more. Like i said it starts as a fatality with the screen going dark and all. and ends with a death trap.
Some would be for specific arenas. *Example*
Shao Kahn - (Sky Temple only) Near death trap Shao Kahn picks up the opponent by the neck and punches them off. Unlike the original version instead of exploding when they hit the ground the opponent lands and breaks the majority of bones in their body. You see Kahn standing where the barrier was broken and he pulls out his Wrath Hammer. He leaps off and the opponent tries to crawl away. Too late though. He smashes the hammer into the opponent with full force.
I know that was horrible but I'ts just an example of what this could be like.
Death traps could previde Hara Kiri type things too. Both would be cool to see.

Holy crap man, how do you come up with such awesome ideas? But for that to work it would have to be every character throwing their individual weapons.

They'd be character specific. Only Shao Kahn would be able to do it. But he could have different ones depending on the kind of death trap.

Well yeah but every character would have to be able to do it, hence, they would all have to be able to do it with their different weapons.

I see what you mean. The Idea is every different character would have a different one. For example Kung Lao's fatality for the Sky Temple would be completly different than Shao Kahns. This of course would work only with a small roster.

Exactly. I hope they bring back smaller rosters. They could do so much if they only included like 20-25 characters every time. Kung Lao's one would be cool. Throwing his broadsword.

Yeah. That would be a change. Throwing something other than a hat. The idea is revolutonary. Their would be problems with this too however.
Like Liu Kang can't really do much by throwing nunchaku.

Yeah, true. Perhaps a fireball or something? Or maybe he could jump on them?

Maybe he just does a huge combo like in Li Mei's MKD fatality 1 and then punches them off and they explode like usuall. lol throwing the nunchaku would be a funny glitch.

Maybe he fireballs them as they fall off, causing a hole in their chest. Then they explode at the bottom.

Or fireballs them before they fall off. and once they're on fire does a flying kick and once they hit the ground then explode. Actually on second thought fireballs wouldn't work that well since it's raining.

OMG! How do you come up with these miraculous ideas? Oh, fireballs will still work. Everyone can still use them in the rain for some reason.

What I ment was that it wouldn't make much sense for someone that's falling off a building in the rain to be on fire. lol how do you find my ideas "miraculous"? I got the idea from an LK Shaolin Monks fatality plus a death trap. Its one of the only fatalities I remember how to do from that game. Probably one of his better ones too.

I'd like to see a remake of the Nethership stages in Deadly Alliance and Deception, updated with new graphics and fit together as part of one, multi-tiered stage.
As to how to knock them to the lower tier, I'm thinking they could be knocked through a cabin door and down a set of stairs into the Nethership Interior, or possibly slammed down through the deck and into the Interior.
Down there, the MK team could use one of their ideas of having prisoners aboard the ship grabbing at you and holding you back or attacking you if you get too close. Stage fatalities could involve being knocked overboard while fighting on the Exterior and possibly being devoured by a sea creature, or drowning in the rough seas or something. The mast pole should act as a object you knock the opponent into to deal extra damage.
Below deck, there could be a stage fatality involving somehow getting knocked into the prisoners' cells, or perhaps by knocking the opponent out the windows and into the water, where they could be drowned, killed by a sea creature, or slammed into the ship by the forceful waves.

Yeah I loved the Nethership. It was so interactive. Ed Boon even said it was the most interactive arena in Deception. You could puch them into gates ore down to a lower level where you could smash corpses at them.
Oh and I had that same death trap idea. In case I havent already said it yet then here it is.
You are punched out the window into the sea. The character emerges from the water and sees the ship leaving him and starts to swim after it.
Behind the character you see a fin coming that submerges when it gets near the character. Suddenly without warning the character is jerked. Then he dips down about halfway and gets pulled under. He rises breifly and struggles with the creature but is pulled down again. After a minute of calm blood and torn clothing rises to the surface.
I can't remember if I said that one before or not. But yeah it is a great arena that has a lot of potential.

Nice ideas in here. However, this belongs in the Future MK Forum.
I'll go ahead and move it there.

there should be arenas inspired by each character with lots of obstacles in the arena with walls you can smash someone into, cliffs you can throw someone off , free falling etc.
