No Shinnok or Fujin would disappoint me, but I'm fully expecting Shinnok will be playable. Not so sure about Fujin.

A large brute unplayable sub boss would be another disappointment if one wasn't included. Since the final boss will be an unexpected returning character, it most likely won't be a large brute like Onaga or Blaze. I just hope they at least have that type of character as a sub boss.

I'm already a little disappointed that the challenge tower won't be back, but Ed said they have something else to take it's place, so I'm really excited to see what it is.

No Friendships would be a disappointment as well.

Since the character I'm rooting for has already been named quiet a few times, I'll highlight something else.

Im already bothered that dash-canceling is not present in the game.

No Li Mei, Kitana, Ermac, Noob, Kenshi, Havik or Cyrax

Let me be among the first to not be greedy and shout out a character name.

"Closure".

With MK9 doing a time jump, we already have a billion questions or plot holes that need to be addressed. Now that MKX is jumping up to another 25 years in the future, there are a few places this game can end up. Very quickly can we find ourselves wondering "What happened to _____?". As the game goes on, we keep wondering and wondering and wondering while we don't realize we aren't even focusing or absorbing the new plot or what is happening. In the back of our heads, we will be waiting for closure and them boom. End credits.

A lot of people will end MKX with a "what the hell just happened?" feeling and almost a feeling of robbery if we aren't given one thing. "Closure".

Whether this is through Bios, story cameos or left out intentionally for the future titles, we need closure or this is going to get messy.

My personal selfish hopes for closure that will tie into this? Multiple MK9 endings support Sektor as the Lin Kuei Grandmaster. Sektor is my favourite character so this is important to me. Subzero has a "Grandmaster" variation complete with a Lin Kuei Medallion. This leads me to believe that at some point before the end of MK9 and the end of MKX, Subzero will indeed fulfill the timeline (Whichever subzero he is) and take the leadership from Sektor. This has NOTHING to do with roster and has nothing to do with favoritism. It is 100% about closure. I need to know what happened.

If Subzero just shows up and is Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei and nothing is even shown, said or logically addressed as to how that happened, I will have a big problem with the story. MK is going in a new direction with new characters? GREAT! I love it. That being said, there is a way to do it. The existing characters need closure.

That is it. Give me closure and you can kill whomever you want and go in any direction you choose. Let me know what happened to every single character after MK9.

I'm sorry but if my or our favorites won't make the cut it's nothing to bother/complaint about. With MK9 many of us had theirs favorites in the game. Now it's time to move on and give some new blood a Chance and take MK one step further. We all know not every favorites gonna make it in the game. Handle it :)

I'm a happy camper, as Kano is in. I won't be disappointed if any of my other favorites don't make it.

As for magical fatalities....a big YES!

We need Quan Chi to summon his foes skeleton to rip through their body. Something like that anyway.

Naming ONE thing is too hard, so here are a few things that will bother me if NOT in the game;

- Multiple X-Ray's per character
- Dead characters STAYING dead (Jade, Smoke, Jax, Kitana etc.)
- A more serious, dark-toned, bloody story mode
- A decent continuation of MK9 where Shinnok is concidered a real threat
- Scorpion learns truth, stops being a dumb fuck, ends vendetta with SZ
- Shinnok as a boss character
- DLC Fatalities

I for one would be kind of bummed if Shang Tsung isn't in, because I want to see the soul steal in MKX.

You know what? I'll change my answer. No Fujin or any other favorite of mine are acceptable losses.

But no Tag mode really irks me. Was really looking forward to some Cage Father/Daughter asskicking.

He is another of my faves. I was pretty pissed that he didn't have his soul steal fatality in MK9. I wasn't to fond of him in that game with having the stupid clown fatality and a rehash of Liu Kang's MKD fatality.
The last time he had the soul steal fatality was back in MKDA. At that it was a cheap one.

If he doesn't return (hoping he does), but, if not, hoping Ermac returns and he has the soul steal fatality that he should have had in MK9. *Look back early on in his trailer of MK9, you will see what I mean.

If Kitana returns, she better have her iconic Kiss of doom fatality. I bet it will look superb in MKX.
I was pretty pissed she didn't have it in MK9.

Oh and Cyrax doing Cyber-Smoke's blow up the planet fatality, just for the lulz.

They need to bring it back to the Deception days with an AWESOME krypt.

I would actually prefer Reiko. I think he could potentially be a very interesting character. Especially if they took his interest in Shao Kahn and delved into that a bit more. Imagine if he trained and put in all this hard work over time and then eventually tried to be the next Shao Kahn or something.
