I guess i'll sign for a game similar to Shaolin Monks, but not neccesarily Shaolin MOnks 2. I think it'd be best to have some different characters, and a slightly upgraded fighting system.

i dunno about this,mksm2?? maybe an adventure similar to it but not a part 2...maybe a version of mksm revamped for handhelds.

i think that they should make a game revolved around reptile and what happened to his race.

I played Shaolin Monks with a friend of mine, and I don't think I've ever had so much fun with a video game. Unfortunately, we played the first round as Scorpion and Sub-Zero, missing out on cool things like extra fatalities and team attacks. Overall, the game was great, but the graphics were lacking a little bit, and the storyline could have been touched up a bit.

Secondly, yeah, make the game move away from Liu Kang and Kung Lao. They were great to play in this game, but perhaps they could delve further into specific character's history. Granted it'll probably be a lot of extra work, and most likely not happen, but I'd enjoy being able to play as a few characters in their own history mode, and then some story mode.

Two player, definitely a must though. Perhaps add more characters other than Sub-Zero and Scorpion, and then add some abilities to those characters. Wasn't too cool playing as Sub-Zero and Scorpion and missing out on a ton of fatalities and specials.

I agree, and I also Request some Ultimate Kick Ass Moves, so much blood and bone cracking action,

when you punch with a character and land it on a tarakata or someone, its gotta sound like his face got Kracked and sdmacked really hard.....so hard that the player must feel the thrill of the Smack!!!!!!

I'll only sign if they promise to not go back and fuck up a part of the story that shouldn't be touched or elaborated upon. A totally unique story, please.

I have three ideas for the game-
1. Raidens war versus Shinnok, with Raiden as the main character, and maybe Fujin as the second.
2. When the Original Kung Lao was in Shang Tsungs tournament.
3. Cover the gap between MKA and MK8, so that we have plenty of backstory for MK8.

A buddy and myself played MK:SM to DEATH... For around four months and even today, we still play SM.

I don't and didn't give a flying crap about the story, because I already knew what happened. The game played great, especially given previous MK adventure game efforts.

If a game that plays similar to Shaolin Monks is released, then I'm all over it. As long as the environments are faithful to MK like MK:SM was, then I'm good.

I'd absolutely love another MK:SM type game. Build upon what MK:SM put out there, and there's gold.

Kitana, Jade, and milleena playable for story and Vs. modes
K.A.K with tons of kustomization options (weapons, kombat styles, specials, species, factions, alignment, age ,gender,voice, Fatalites, multalities, brutalites, animalities, etc.)
all reoccurring enemies from MK:SM fully functional and playable in all modes (press a shoulder button at character select screen to bring up reoccuring enemy select screen)
All characters from MKT/MK4 playable in all modes
Tremor, Tasia, Noface(MKSZ), Jatakka, Kia(MK:SZ), water/earth/fire gods from MK:SZ playable secret characters
Play as Hornbuckle and blaze in any mode
play as MK:A Red dragon commando, lin Kuei member, and Brother of shadow
Get rid of Kabal's southern accent (it doesn't sound right for him)
Versus story mode, pick/make a good/evil/neutral character through story mode and try to stop the other player whil helping your side, give ur character a null alignment and go through story mode helping and harming whoever you choose

motor kombat withall available tracks and characters from all other modes.

Okay, that is a bunch-full of ideas I know couldn't possibly make it to MK:SM 2 altogether. Maybe SOME ideas, but defininitely not all.

All I want for this game is to have females playable, and not just Kitana. And they should make MK3 be an unlockable feature, like MK2 was an unlockable feature in part 1.

I think the transition would bw similaR to shaolin monks. As MK:SM went from MK1-MK2, MK:SM2 would go from UMK3-MKGold. And would take place in the city. Kai would be a member of the shaolin Monks, and Chameleon, Khameleon, and Meat would be hidden secret characters. There would be lots more playable characters for Vs. Mode and many many more old fatalities brought back, maybe even an Animality or a brutality or 2. Wed see certain things like classic sub-zero becoming Noob Saibot, and smoke being turned Cyborg. It's be cool to see sheevas skin rip in 3D and Quan Chi's Leg Beating in better graphics.

that sounds great, but since most characters in MK#/UMK#/MKT had animalities then most of them in MKSM2 should have them aswell.

also i may know some ways to include Both MK3/umk3/mkt and mk4
have the option to choose either just mk3, just mk4 and/or mk3-mk4

for the just MK3 option u could choose from MK3, UMK:3, orMKT: same with mk4/mk3's-mk4.

for the just mk4 u could choose either MK4 or MKG, also Vs mode should be more like single player (you can start in 1 area and go through portals that lead to another area, also the weapons for mk3 should be laying around like in MK:SM's single player, in mksm 'every are has a/some secret(s)' they should do that for the sequel) give the characters more unique normal moves, whil still having them be similar to each other. also i know that all of my ideas wont make it into the game( if ther's a sequel at all) but i'd be happy/satisfied if just some of them made it into the game. Iwonder what they'd name the sequel as well. P.S that part just before the last line of the main body of my post is for QueenSindel (theBitch) P.S.S QueenSindel, more will come, some of them may be busy, just give them some time. P.S.S.S we hav a good amount so far, now we just need to find out how to send this petition to midway/Ed Boon, when thats finished all thats left is to send it.

It's funny... When I first made this thread, I thought it would attract like at least a hundred votes or something in like a few weeks, since MKSM was very successful and got a lot of positive responses from MK fans (except about the story).

Well, since there's been not even 40 votes after all these months, I guess MKSM simply wasn't that big a deal to most MK fans. At least not big enough for them to want a sequel.

Well, I'm still dying for a sequel with more playable characters, especially if they make it revolve around MK3 cuz most likely Sindel will make an appearance of some sort.

Hell Yeah there should be a Shaolin Monks 2! and fuck that if it's based on MK3 then all of the characters from MK3 should be apart of the story mode and also playable, it would get more sales that way trust me, so there's my request.

is this petition supposed to be a serious petition or just to say that Shaolin Monks 2 would be cool. My god MK8 would NEVER be finished if they actually answered and read all the petitions started every day. I personally would love to see a next gen MKSM game.

Sure, I'm all for it. I'd like to see a MKSM style game based in a more urban themed Earthrealm like in MK3. It'd be cool to fight off centaurs, tarkatans, cyborgs, etc. in some city ruins at night time...with Shao Kahn's temple visible in the distance.

It'd be cool to travel through the MK3 stages in an adventure style. Maybe you have to run across train tracks while watching out for passing trains in the Subway. You could go through maybe like 20 floors until you get to the top of the Bank, and then the Balcony.

You should be able to play as all the 8 chosen warriors for co-op mode: Jax, Sonya, Stryker, Kabal, Nightwolf, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Sub-Zero. If I had to pick 4 at the least though (like MKSM) was, then maybe...
Sub-Zero - He probably had one of the more interesting stories in MK3...being chased after the cyborgs, trying to save Smoke, etc.
Stryker - Would like to see more on his background, and he's one of the new chosen heroes.
Nightwolf - Same as Stryker.
Kabal - Same as Nightwolf. Maybe replace Kabal with Sonya, since her story has some more meaning in MK3...and we'd get to witness her "final" battle against Kano.
The rest of the MK3 cast could possibly be added for VS mode.

i think its a good idea i love MK:SM and was a big fan of sub-zeros myth back in the day as well i would like to hear more of what went on in through out the MK:3/U3 but sense they made MK:SM and then have another one to come out based around MK:3 wouldnt it be smart to have on based around MK frist i know there wasnt much of a story at the time but you cant make all thes other ones and not have somethin based around the orignal MK

they should it from the time around mk3 and mkt and they should add more characters in vs mode than in the first one if they actually do manage to make a second.
