Basically, I posted a simple thread about Sonya possibly brainwashing her daughter about Kano, then some people here, not everyone, but some people starting having breakdowns. And for what? I don't even know. But it's NOT my problem. Let's make that clear.

Your theory is not a good one. It's like something out of Fanfiction.net. Believe me when I say, some of those people should stop attempting to think what ideas they have are golden. They're not.

Your theory made no sense because you're taking two characters who wouldn't stoop to something like that. They're not retired fighters. If Kano is still around this time and still fighting, chances are, Sonya and Johnny are around fighting too. It doesn't seem that Kano is aged THAT much despite that he is older.

But then, you started randomly throwing out ideas that are just plain awful, such as Sonya should invest in cybernetics and get something like a cyber eye or a leg. Dumb.

You were mentioning Sonya's ending, in which I think you did not understood one thing about it at all. Here's the narration of her 2011 ending:

"The loss of friends and allies during the battle with Shao Kahn took its toll on Sonya Blade's sanity.
She left the Special Forces and went into seclusion to cope with her grief. But her solitude was brief as she found herself regularly visited by an apparition who claimed to be her missing father. With her father as a guide, Sonya embarked on a mission to exterminate what remained of Shao Kahn's army."

Nothing about this ending makes it seems that Sonya would stoop to brainwashing her future child. Basically, what it tells me is that she felt the pain and grief of losing her friends/allies during Kahn's invasion, but because her father was by her side suddenly, spiritually, she's done being depressed and does whatever it's going to take to finish off the remaining parts of Kahn's invasion.

Nowhere does it state that she's insane or crazy or whatever, and wants to do something horrible to her child.

The thing is, as I stated, Sonya is not the kind of character that would suddenly change and make it seem like she's got this horrible scheme in making her daughter delusional with what she's got to say to her. Parents do not do that to their children and I doubt the writers would do something like that to their characters.

You were also telling me about Jax and Kano, how you knew "Kano" was going to be in this due to their arcade endings. And I stated, arcade endings have no effect whatsoever on this story.
