A male warrior AngeL! - I've been wanting one in MK ever since MK5 was announced. I even had high hopes when I saw Nitara, but was then disappointed :(

A VIKING - I feel like a viking is probably a Shoe-In at this point, becuz they are "so in" right now with that TV show, and also with Thor succeeding in the MarveL- MovieVerse. I just hope that if NRS does make a Viking, they give him RED hair and an Axe instead of Blonde hair and a hammer. That way ppl wont call him "MK Thor" LoL

Khrome. I've been dying for a Liquid MetaL kharacter in MK for years. Terminator 2 is my all-time favorite movie. The character "Twelve" from Street Fighter 3 was pretty damn close, but MK could do waaayyy better. When I first saw the article here about that fucked up Smoke statue, I told myself "Holy-Shit, its going down!"

"BLU-Kang" - As for Kitana and LiuKang having a son, I really hope that doesnt happen. Maybe for MK11.

"Tekno" - That Cyber-Smith from KabaL's ending. I have a theory that he assimilates Cyrax and Sektor during the Time-Lapse. Giving him 1 variation inspired by each of the 2 (much like Cassie) and his 3rd variation being the Pulse Blade weapon (aka MK's Light Sabre)

Tremor - If he isnt part of the New Characters List, he will definitely be DLC. Boon & Company are fully aware of his fandom, which is why he snuck into MKvita.

Well MK could surely add a barbarian or a viking.

I don't think MK needs a vampire anyway.

Got anything... human-like to blend in with a creature?

Of all the times I watched Kabal's ending, I have not saw the Cyber-Smith.

A plant-user can be some warrior from a faery-like race.

What about a pirate character? The Cove stage already kind of suggests this and maybe it would be cool. So is a pirate in a MK game too far fetched? Do we already have pirates in both Ferra and Torr? If so, are there more? Hmmmm

Did you know that Tanya exists solely because the MK team felt like it was time for new characters AFTER they had already decided to make Kitana part of MK4, so instead of starting from scratch, they just repainted Kitana and gave her a new name. And some new moves.

Reiko is the same. The two of them fall under the same category of characters - returning characters rehashed into being new characters instead.

Tanya got a more unique look in MKD, as did Reiko in MKA.

You see, the origin of a character, how they came to be... it doesn't matter. It's what the devs do with that character that matters. And I for one hope both Tanya AND Reiko returns in MKX, and I hope NRS are going to make both of them awesome.

A character could be Norse or Scandinavian without being a viking. Just look at Lars from Tekken. He's Swedish...

I don't even know why they bothered making Lars Swedish.
He speaks in Japanese, has crazy anime hair, and has a kawaii, Japanese-speaking robo loli sidekick.

They probably just wanted to make a blonde Japanese person and shoehorned in the Scandinavian heritage.

As for a viking character, no way. You could incorporate viking-esque themes into a character, but a straight-up viking sounds like something out of War Gods.

Because not every character needs to be a stereotype.

I didn't say he needed to be scarfing down lutfisk in his intro and combing his platinum blonde locks. They just made him a goofy anime stereotype, and his connection to the Mishimas didn't do him any favors.
Edit: On that note, aren't most of the Tekken characters (and fighting game characters in general) just stereotypes? If they're done in a smart enough manner, they're usually accepted.

^This is the Cyber guy from KabaL's MK9 ending. I see him as the MKU Lex Luthor (he even kinda looks like him). My theory is that he will be DLC, and his story is that he turned himself into a cyborg, then assimilated Cyrax and Sektor. Similar to the Android/Perfect CeLL saga from DBZ. Maybe his MKX motive is that he is after Kano's super heart.

@ImmortaL Kanji... Im game for a Viking. I think I listed that earlier in this thread. I actually wanted him to rock the same goatee that Kano debuted with, bummer! I imagined it red tho, accompanied by a red braided mohawk. Magical Axe for a weapon.

Lol Blue Kang is what I call P2's Lui Kang when both P1 and P2 choose him, mainly in MK2

Li Mei literally plays nothing like Mileena, and they don't share a single move. Same with the Kai/Liu Kang comparision. You tried it.


Back on topic, i would like for a male vampire to be in the game. I'd be OK with Nitara coming back but i don't see it for her, so at least a male vampire with GOOD moves and contection to her would satisfy me.

They already have Nitara, so I'd rather they made some changes to her than just discard her and make a new one.
