We don't know all the plots yet, so we'll find out what happens to Liu Kang's scared body and why he gets healed. I'm betting Goro does die in the shokan uprising somehow. If we don't get an explanation for Takeda, then it's just bad writing (first time in Mortal Kombat when we had to come up with a good explanation for something that some schmucks came up with? I don't think so)

Why even bother having Liu Kang scarred as a revenant if he just gets healed? His bio bothered to mention as it a plot point, and yet that would mean it just gets handwaved away right away. And what about that guy's other "leaks"? He didn't even mention stages like the Jinsei Chamber and The Emperor's Courtyard, and he even got Quan Chi Fortress's name wrong. Also, the alt costumes--he used the excuse that they were all in the base game so he wouldn't have to list DLC, yet the klassic costumes ARE DLC. Also, it completely contradicts what we've been told by the devs: MKX is not going to have as many alternate costumes as Injustice.

He got one thing right, sure, but that doesn't counteract the million things he got wrong. You can't get this mad over one correct guess, wait until the game actually comes out. Save your complaining until then.

The solicitation for Issue #6 says that Sub-Zero reflects on the path that brought him face-to-face with Scorpion so I would assume that Sub-Zero is not possessed any longer. If what Kano says is true then Scorpion could win since only death frees the possessed from the Kamidogu curse.

Why am I the only one who thinks that Kano was just joking when he said "The curse can be broken... You just have to kill the possessed." It clearly is a joke because that would mean NOBODY will be freed from the curse, since anybody who is possessed will have to be killed. It's sorta like "Oh are you in pain? Let me kill you so you don't feel pain anymore" It's kind of obvious that if you kill the possessed he won't be possessed anymore, but I'm sure there is another way around it. Raiden didn't die and I'm sure Subby won't die a second time.

Can someone post a picture of Kintaro from the issue? What does he look like?

Just to play devils advocate, we dont know what build this leaker saw or when he even saw it, if he even saw a build at all, which leads me to this;

1) We've already seen multiple stage name changes between Jan and now. Not to mention the Jinsei Chamber being located inside of the Sky Temple is one hell of a coincidence.

2) Those costumes could've easily been taken out of game and given to the Kombat Pack.

3) Liu Kang being disfigured or not is irrelevant in a game that spans a quarter of a century. If Goro's arms can be brought back by magic, so too thus could scars be healed. We also dont know if Liu Kang is there against his will or not, being healed could be used as leverage against him.

4) As far as the areas not matching like Takeda, in this era of MK, anyone who really wants to argue whether or not NRS has the balls the retcon stuff in any shape or form is not using their brain.

With all that said, I still think the leaker is talking out of his ass but none of your points are definitive proof he's a liar, its your assumption. We wont have proof until the 14'th.

Dear people arguing over whether the Bios that "leaked" are real or not...

Half the Bios were released via Amazon about a week before the alleged leak of all the remaining bios.

Kotal's Bio was amongst these, and is thus above contestation. Go to the amazon page for MKX right now. There it is. With a very official looking render of Kotal. Along with several other bios.

THEN... about a week later, came the "leak" of all the REST of the bios... many of which were noticeably poorly written when compared with the first official batch. Liu Kang's was among those.

So yes, Kotal's bio is 100% real and was released by Amazon.

Liu Kang's is very very likely a fake. But the jury's still out.

Someone likely just wrote a bunch of fan fiction bios for the remaining characters, added in the confirmed real bios from Amazon to make them look legitimate... and then dumped them out there on the internet as a "leak"

Kotal's bio never needed to be proven real. We already knew it was. It's on the friggin' Amazon page for the game right now.

1. We already knew from the descriptions of the Chapter 1 demo that the Jinsei Chamber is located underneath the Sky Temple. The guy just assumed that's what it would be called, just like how he's assuming we're getting "Shao Kahn's Tomb" because of that statue of him.

2. All of them except for Johnny's? Even then, that's still too many costumes to match up with what's been said.

3. I don't think it's "irrelevant" at all when the bio bothered to mention it and made it sound like something that can't be fixed by magic. If the scars are immediately healed, why not mention that instead of making it sound like a feature of his revenant form?

4. Something that simple not matching is up isn't a retcon, it's just inconsistency. They'd want to keep the comic and game plots lined up.

I don't think these are "assumptions" at all when so much of what this guy says contradicts stuff we already know. Why did he call Scorpion and Kenshi's MK2011 costumes by that name, but not Kano's? Why haven't we see anything that could be "Shao Kahn's Tomb" or the "Warrior Katakombs", even though we now have 13 stages filling up the stage select? And how the heck could he somehow know about future DLC but not changes in stage names and DLC costumes, especially when they haven't finished the first DLC?

Just way too many questions.

I think he will get a chance to do so, we saw in the Story Trailer that Erron Black is again at Kotal Kahn's side. I'm thinking that Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage will leave Kotal Kahn,D'vorah and Ferra/Torr to fight the Shokans alone and Erron Black will show up with and help Kotal Kahn.

Either way I'm sure Erron Black won't be left out of all the action :).
