MK9..Mortal Kombat Guest Stars Idea for MK9

Well I can see it now folks. Enough kids will Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe to make it popular and make money for Midway. So they will likely do something simular since it did so well. But they might try something different again and not a VS game but a Mortal Kombat title that features guest stars from other games and comics, music, movies etc. If they did this and did it right it might work. Soul Calibur 2 did this with Link, Spawn and a guy from Tekken.

Here is some guest stars I think would work and be fun tearing there head off.

Kratos (God of War)
Spawn
Riptor (Killer Instinct)
Sabrewulf (Killer Instinct)
Marilyn Manson (rock star)
Ken (Street Fighter)
B.Orchid (Killer Instinct)
Pagan (War Gods)
Chaos (Primal Rage)
Torque (The Suffering)
Nina Williams (Tekken)
Bruce Lee
Jet Lee
The Crow (Movie)
Ryu (Street Fighter)
Terminator (Movie)
Preditor (Movie)
Alien (Movie)
Venom (Marvel)
Carnage (Marvel)
Evil Spider-Man (Spider-Man 3 Movie)

I guess I could go on forever...lol. All Midway would have to do is calla round and see if they can purchase the rights to any of these characters to make a guest apperance in the game. And they ad a little story on how they got called into Mortal Kombat. And it wouldn't even interfier with the MK characters.

You guess might knock some of these but come on, there all better than ANY DC Comic Character. And I think almost anyone would agree that Any Killer Instinct character and Kratos from Gods of War would be badass. If anything, that should buy the rights for Kratos before someone else does like Soul Calibur.

i suggest Torque from the Suffering.
he's a fighter(they could give him Vale tudo or street fighitng),he can transofrm into a demon,they don't need to pay for copyrights(it's a Midway license),he had a dark and mature background...

Seeing Kratos is MK9 would be pretty cool, but I doubt it will happen.

There should be no guest in any more MK game. I think MK vs DC has guest lol. so no dumb superheroes or any guests in MK9.

But MK8 hasn't even come out yet! When all the other games were still being made, let's say Deception, there's hasn't been one thread that was about the next game. Why worry about MK9, or is this created becuse all of you don't like the fact that it's a crossover? Hmm... I sense something like this is the reason.

I'm actually kinda looking forward to MK vs. DC

But if this forum is for MK8, then why does MK8 already have it's own forum? Why have two for the same thing? No, this board is to discuss and speculate on games that will come out AFTER MK vs. DC, otherwise all the MK vs. DC topics would be here, instead of on their own board.

And if ever there was a good reason to skip past a game and discuss the one after it, here it is: Because it's a crossover, it's probably not going to be canon. Characters are going to appear in the form they're most known for, not in the form they were in at the end of Armageddon. I expect to see live Liu Kang, a non-dark Raiden, no mention of Taven or Blaze, et cetera.

I'm not saying that's DEFINITELY how it will be. But that is most LIKELY how it will be. Which means we won't find out how Armageddon ended until MK9. So now is as good a time as any to guess what MK9 will have to tell us.

I know everything you just said, captain obvious.... but I still think it's pointless to talk about a game that hasn't been even begun in the process of making. You can say whatever you want just like I do. So quit trying to make me look stupid and have no clue what to talk about.

The board is for speculation. A game doesn't actually have to be in production in order to say what you'd like it to have.

Unless it's a VS game I'm not really keen on guests. Soul Calibur runs with it. But MK9 should just be balls out MK.
Parodying other characters: Good.
Including guests: Bad.

No..just no. Spawn and Kratos are fine, but Marilyn Manson is just a rock star. His group is one of my favs, but seriously he wouldn't stand a chance in Hell against any MK character.

yes Marilyn Manson is just a rockstar but he has a very good shock factor and not only that but my favorite singer and I just think it would be awesome to see him in the game. They could make a good story for him and the reason why he is in the game. Hell Johnny Cage is in Mortal Kombat and he is just a movie actor...lol.

And you being a Marilyn Manson fan you should know he likes to kick people and throw things and also spits on his fans and cuts himself. These all could be used for MK moves. Like spits in there eye which makes them drop there gaurd so you can hit them. He cuts himself to regain a little health back. And he throws stuff at you....not sure what...lol.
