If we're going to get a new female character that isn't passed down from the bloodline of another character, I'd rather she be another species that isn't human-like, having hair color isn't so much of a factor.

Rain's hair is black. So if he had a child, it would be black-haired as well, unless the mother had purple hair and it was the dominant gene.

Some how I don't think having "good hair genes" is relevant to your hair color in the world of MK.

Hehe, I see your point, but I believe that NRS has at least SOME sense of genetic logic when it comes to the offspring of the other MK characters. Cassie is an example of that, with her blonde hair and caucasian skin. I doubt anyone would accept her as Sonya's and Cage's daughter if she appeared with black hair and a dark tan.
