If it's going to be digitized, I want to see them make the characters look like their digitized actors.

I don't think that's going to happen. I also don't know how good next gen graphics can make digitized actors look.

Nintendo is comprised of three Japanese words. Nin, Ten, Dou, and when combined it means we kicked the holy shit outta Atari.

Since this is about a future MK game I'll move this to the Future MK board.

I'm anxious to see how a "real" next-gen MK game will unfold.

The return to evil and bloody sounds promising... and relieving.

Why would they go back to 1992 technology and digitize them? That's a silly notion IMO

I think that if they do go digitized, as long as it's stylized it'll be fine.

They've already announced that they've "motion captured" 14 Fatalities in a single day. This means for sure that it will use 3D polygons with the movements recorded using motion capture, and not actors being filmed and digitized.

The bluescreen process is outdated in this day and age anyway. 3D models can now actually be more detailed than photographic footage.
