posted05/08/2008 10:40 PM (UTC)bySanjei1It seems a "Bunch" Of people loved the Mini Games. And all that jazz.
The problem Midway mainly faces is Trying to make a Good Replay Value Video Game.
When Mini Games started. It just made "Kombat" A Much different thing. The Characters were somewhat Slower than they were in MK:DA.
And that is why they came up with Parrys and Combo Breakers.
Because the Kombos can go for so Long and can take away...Quite a bit of your Health.
In order to Avoid them doing that.
They need to Make the Mini Games on their Own Disk.
Think of this for just one second. Think of it or don't. Because if this doesn't Interest you, you might as well stop Reading.
Think of it.
They'd be able to make their Own "Motor Kombat" Game. With much Better Quality in Gameplay.
I mean...It would be like Mario Kart starting all over again. Only an MK Version.
I mean They can have More Players to select, More Racing Maps, More Power ups, And a Battle mode.
Remember how fun that was? In Mario Kart?
When you would battle your Friends that would play with you.
Note: I am talking about the Classics that were Actually much more fun to play"
The Battle Mode would be Very interesting and awesome.
They could also make their own Puzzle Kombat game as well.
More Characters (That Including more powers ups in puzzle), More Arenas, And most definently a Better Puzzle game.
Meaning More Colors, More powers to Eleminate Squares.
I don't want anyone to be all like: (Gasp) NO!!!"
Because I say.
They won't have to make it an "M" Game.
It could at least be a "T" Game.
And that also so that Midway can make more money to do more things for their Others games in the Future.
I want to know all of you guys' Opinions on that.

Completely agree. There is this one Wii game with a ton of mini games inside and its pretty fun it makes you wanna go back and play it again and again. So yes, would be a good idea.

This isn't a bad idea, but since it would cost extra to produce another disk I don't see it happening soon.

I miss chess. It was my favorite mode in Deception, but I was always a little disappointed, because I liked to form teams with themes, like for example, "Shao Kahn's army"...but Deception never had enough characters that fit that theme on the roster.
*Sigh* If only it had been in Armageddon...

I think this is a great idea. Advance the old mini games and had some new ones. Would be kinda like Mario Party. I myself like Motor Kombat and would like to see if more improved as it had great potential. More characters which would be more power moves, more tracks, and bigger tracks. And different game models for it. Would be awesome.
And my wife is was a huge fan of the puzzel kombat...and it would be awesome with more characters which would be more power moves.
New mini games like a 3rd person shooter, a mini MK football, mini MK NBA JAM, mini MK tennis, etc. Would be really fun.
Maybe one of these days.

No please. Enough with all the little mini-games.Not unless they're character specific, or completely relevant to the premise of Mortal Kombat as a whole. But otherwise, hell no.
Although, there is enough material in MK there, for one disc dedicated to the story element(Konquest type deal), and the other for the Fighting, KAK, and Online stuff.
I'd buy it @ 120$ USD, I'd buy that kind of effort from MK.
I doubt they'll ever put that much into it though. Ever.
