While watching some intros of Mileena with other characters and Kotal Kahn i kinda saw it coming that Mileena would die. But being killed by Dvorah was a BIG shock to me! I thought Dvorah was some random character like Nitara that really had no purpose besides their little story line/ambition/goal.

And the one thing that would forever bug me about Mileena's death scene is why? Why, why, WHY didnt she at least try to defend herself against Dvorah's mouthful of bees/insects? Like I know i wasnt the only one that wanted to see Dvorah get half her face torn off for trying to pull off a rather risky move to a half tarkatan prisoner.

If this game confirmed something is that popular characters with high demand stay no matter what, Mileena's inclusion is guaranteed for the next game, even if she doesn't do much or even appears in the story, that's not a problem anymore.

I agree, her mouth is a devastating weapon, she's using it in MKX more than ever. She could've easily bite D'Vorah's face off, or at least try. That just wasn't very Mileena like, just to wait there patiently...she's more savage than that.

But then again, it comes at no surprise after MK9's massacre with Sindel. They attacked her one by one, disregarded all their abilities and weapons...

Now I have a question. Why didn't Mileena just bite D'vorah's face off when she starting making out with her?

It comes across in that scene that Mileena had just given up. She wanted to die, she asked Kotal to die with dignity although he didn't grant it. I found it really hard to play that chapter knowing what was coming. I'm gonna miss Mileena.

I hate D'Vorah for it, and was heart broken the way Mileena died. I wish she took a chunk out of that dam bug bitch

I think you guys are being a bit too harsh on D'Vorah. The one who actually had Mileena killed is Kotal, D'Vorah just executed the order. She beat Mileena in a fight and didn't kill her, but instead brought her before Kotal who then decided on Mileena's faith.

At least she died in a memorable way and at least we know what happened to her. As a Fujin fan I am extremely pissed that I don't even know what happened to him. I saw most of the cutscenes (possibly not all), and as far as I know he just disappears after chapter 1? LOL, that's so shitty. Not to mention he should have been playable from the start given the MK4/Shinnok theme of the game.

Anyway, story modes continue to be whack and I wouldn't be so upset about Mileena's death. She has a great new design, promising looking gameplay, she was/is in the comics and in the game's story mode and she'll probably be back as a playable character already in the next game.

I didn't know that part. But I think it makes it worse. Mileena doesn't seem like the type of character that would give up...ever.
There's an intro vs D'Vorah where she says "I will never give up my fight". It's a bit ironic.

Eh intros aren't meant to be too spoilery but at that point she lost everything including her only means of defeating Kotal. I think her death could've been more grand like going out in blaze of glory but its not like she wont be back so eh.

Yeah, they shouldve had her go out in a blaze of glory but now worries imo along with Kitana she's the most legendary female character so I doubt that she will sit out any upcoming mk

I finally got my Xbox one and MKX today!

I've been avoiding the arcade endings, but quickly went to complete Mileena's so I could find out hers. And it was stupid. :|

I then unlocked her khanum costume.. Love.

Also, I suck so bad at this game. I can't pull off any of her kombos. But I haven't sat down and really practiced yet. I do like her high pounce in ravenous (tho I thought it was her neck bite, but it's just that leg grab). Ethereal is fun, I hope I see someone get really good at it. Piercing seems to be the easiest.

I'm only on chapter 3 of the story, and am already dreading chapter 6.

I've been hearing this here and there are about Mileena. I'm going to put in some time with her today but I hope it's just making an adjustment to the new fighting engine because I couldn't play with Mileena at all in MK9.

Speaking of D'Vorah & Nitara, her fighting style remind anyone else of Darkstalkers' Morrigan?

Anyway, I thought the death scene was pretty awesome. I feel like Mileena fought quite well but lost and died in a good way. A sexy way, just how Mileena would want it. And after seeing the story and seeing her personality, D'vorah might just be my new favorite character, other than Reptile. Mileena was my favorite female character until D'vorah came around.

But as a Mileena fan, i'm not worried too much. Mileena will most likely be back in some way such as the netherrealm or flesh pits. Then we get some awesome Mileena vengeance in the next game against D'vorah. And hopefully some more making out.
