I think that's what they're going for. Like, during her tenure as Empress, she had the court Shadow Priests working around the fucking clock to try and make her look normal, and that's about as good of a job as they can do without Shang around.

That's what I'm saying. During her time on the throne she'd have a lot of resources at her disposal, one of the first things she's do is try to fix what she sees as flawed about herself.

Also, is anyone getting the impression she's matured a little? I mean, still obviously nutso (wouldn't be Mileena if she wasn't), but she seems a tad more composed than last time from what I can tell.

It is slowly going for what I would love to see. Personally, I think it'd be fun if she got a humanistic mouth, see nothing special, but when she opens her mouth the sharp teeth appear. Something like in MK Conquest TV series. But more scary and ugly.

Yeah, that's what it seems like. Becoming the Empress, losing everything, being forced to go underground, constantly expecting betrayal - it's gotta take a toll on a person.

I personally don't like the way her new mouth looks. I prefer her old mouth full of non-metal razor blades as teeth.

They really did justice with her mouth and made her really scary I know people out there will have nightmares of her.

Would she consider her Tarkatan features a flaw now though? Shao Kahn was very pleased with her and she's not constantly second best now. In general she seems to like herself a lot more.

She's definitely more mature though. I guess they could justify her horrible personality in the previous game by her just being born but yeah 25 years has done her some good.

This is the first time i've seen her new mouth (cos i'm avoiding the story trailer, i consider it a spoiler), but i don't mind seeing a still image.

Well, i do, but only because of THE HORROR. Shit looks like some Res Evil mutation. Maybe it's because it's new and i'm not used to it, but dayum.

MKX mouth < MK9 mouth < MKD mouth. Don't ask about the 2D era, since they're mostly the same and you only saw them very briefly during fatalities.

Mileena can now give a proper beej so I approve. For serious though her new mouth took some getting used to but it's growing on me. Can't wait to see her in-game.

I think it looks absolutely dreadful personally. Like a really bad case of facial fungus or something. I just don't like the fact that it's normal size in the middle and ginormous on the sides, it looks really awkward. Don't think I'll ever get used to it but it's a really small detail in the grand scheme of things.
