Mavado isn't on my covet list, but some kind of expansion/explaination wouldn't go unnoticed in MKX. Also, can't deny I liked the Spanish assassin concept.

This case is simple. Daegon is the Red Dragon and then he can recruit whoever he wants. The Red Dragon is very important and can not be ignored, but its members are (Mavado and Hsu Hao) are irrelevant. The Same goes with the resistance Seido (Dairou and Darrius).

I Love the Red Dragon! I was actually looking forward to a potential "3-Way Dance" in MKX between the Black Dragon, Red Dragon, and The OIA. Reminds me of GIJoe vs Kobra. I Loved everything about Mavado except his special moves, I'd totally revamp that. And Yes, I might be the only member of this forum that liked Hsu Hao! LoL. His ridiculous hat needs to go, but I Loved that he was essentially a brute wrestler. I still see him as the Zangief of MK. Behind Kenshi in the MK5-Kast, I'd gladly take Mavado and HsuHao over BoRaiCho, Drahmin, Li Mei, and Frost. Hell, I'd take them over the MK6-newbs as well.

If I were to redesign Mavado, I'd give him some sleek, red & black armor. Throwing daggers strapped everywhere, sleeveless trenchcoat on top. He seems to be modeled after Blade right? I'd cross that look up with Gambit too. I'd even give him a faux-hawk. Thats what all the spanish guys rock in my region. Plus it would mesh with Cassie's fade. Damn kool kids. The HookSwords are way too kool NOT to be in MK. I personally rather Mavado have them over KabaL. He's dead anyway right? LoL

I did very much. I'd like to see a revamp of his alt. Liked it better than his main.

The Dragon-Human hybrids from MKA were pretty Kool too. I wouldn't mind having a hidden battle with one. Just make a red-scaled Reptile that breathes fire.

And a better "3-Way Dance" comparison would be Shield, AIM, and Hydra.

It is hard to get enamoured with stereotypical cliches or even with decent fantastic creations when they basically hold no stayting power or non-apparent meaning.

Shortly:we are not twelve years old when guns, superpower or somesuch things mean much to me. It's why most fantasy is shit when people concentrate on the cool factor and forget to write an actual story with characters....

You can like the cool factor, but that alone does not build a character.

I'd love if Mavado came back. He's not the one i'll miss the most but he certainly deserves another shot.

Kabal is in both (all) cases superior to Mavado. Appearance wise and story wise + he came first, Mavado is a cheap weapon-clone.

How that constitutes a logical reply, scratch that, how those constitute a reply is beyond me.

@Dvorrah... Yes, I do prefer Mavado over KabaL. In fact, KabaL is my most hated character in the MK franchise. His "powers" make absolutely no sense at all IMO. I always felt like Boon let his 5yr old baby brother make up the idea of KabaL or something. LoL

I think it was Tobias who conjured up Kabal, not Boon.
