Despite that I didn't care for his fatality, I thought he was a good character in Deadly Alliance. I played as him a lot, and knowing what he looked like during beta (the whole cowboy outfit) it wouldn't hurt to see him return. Of course there is more than just looks and how he played. I thought he was a good new character and he deserves to come back, especially that we could see a few other dragon clan characters.

As much as I personally would like that, it's not happening. The roster selection is probably long said and done, plus Boon isn't going to troll the fans over such an insignificant character.

He could be in the main roster or one of the DLCs. We do not know as of yet because we only have 7 characters revealed so far.

The Red Dragon has the same purpose and its members are very loyal. At the most they do not have many moves and combos. So Daegon, Mavado and (Dairou we could bring to the Red Dragon) could be one character only, with Stances. Depending on which interact with one talk and then be replaced by those who were fighting. The X-Ray and Fatality would be the same.

I laugh at the thought of Mavado coming back.

But i did like the whole story of the Black Dragon once being apart of the Red Dragon and are out to wipe them out. But their characters were really uninteresting

In terms of story is not very complicated considering that Red Dragon was always handled by Shinnok (MKA).

Mavado is a cool cat. I would love to see him come back and have even more of that new age matador mixed with Dartagne feel to him. I thought it was a fresh and diverse choice.

Well, at least put him in something more exciting than a feud with Kabal.

I think they should cut away Jarek, and use Kano instead, same for Mavado, cut as he had never existed, instead, get Kabal, who is already dead.

Storywise that ́s impossible. Kano was there in the new timeline, he ́s Black Dragon. And the Black Dragon only exist because they have separated themselves from the Red Dragon. Thet creators may choose for a directon in which the Red Dragon don ́t play their part in the story. But they can NEVER get away by saying the Red Dragon doesn ́t exist in the new timeline.

Anyway, I did like Mavado in MKDA and MKA. I played with him quite a lot actually. The hookswords were powerful weapons in those games. Don ́t think Mavado makes the cut though.

I like the Red Dragon idea, but if they bring that back, make it so that Mavado has been killed and a NEW leader is in its place, something non-human, something vampire/dragonoid or whatever, suits the name RED Dragon, not some human casanova that uses somebody elses weapons.

I never cared for Mavado, and actually thought he would be the vampire of MKDA, until I saw Nitara.

Anyway I hope to see new characters for the Red Dragon, and all old ones erased, but I don't have to wish hard, most of the Red DRagon is already on Boon's pile of poop anway.

So its a whole new Red Dragon, or no Dragon Clans at all.

Mavado needs another chance. I know a lot of people don't like him, but he has a lot of potential not only with looks but also with story and fighting moves.

The Clans don't really have to feud. If Kano is in, he'll be going after Cassie (vise versa). The Red Dragon can serve a different purpose except for being lackeys.

I would rescue three characters in Slot Red Dragon. The Purpose of them is the same one, so the ending could talk, Daegon, Mavado and ... did it and got it.

I would trade Hsu Hao by Dairou to make the Red Dragon a multi-kingdoms (Edenia / Outworld, Earthrealm and Seido) alliance.

I want Dairou, Darrius, Hotaru, Havik, and Mavado to share a storyline in Seido or wherever.

I'd also like a pony.

I believe characters like Dairou and Darrius, Kia and Jataaka, Daegon and Mavado, Kira and Kobra have only realistic chance of returning if they occupy the slot of a single character, they are considered a single character and the 3 in 1. Whereas variations.

Daegon doesn't belong in that list. He's too important. A half human- half god founder of the greatest criminal esoteric organization on Earth who enslaved his dragon mentor and killed Edenia's protector gods (which probably doomed the realm and allowed Shao Kahn to conquer it). He will definitely be developed by the writers. Plus, he's one of the strongest characters, only below Shinnok, Raiden, Liu Kang, Shao Kahn, Taven, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung and maybe below Ermac, Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

I wish they would give him a repentance arc and make him a good guy.

On the other hand, you're right about Kira, Kobra, Kia, Jatakaa (too many sidekicks already). Darrius is probably out although he seems interesting to me (Crazy, right? I know)

If I remember, a fangirl aked boon that "I want man mavado in <3" or something...and boon responded by saying "No you don't..".

Doesn't sound like he's NOT making a return, maybe Boon is saying that he isn't a character who's actions will cause you to "<3" him. Idk, that's how I interpret it.

I'm expecting a villain and/or faction to take over/assimilate the Red Dragon and Daegon, Mavado and Hsu Hao are all unceremoniously killed off-screen.
