If you check my track record I stopped posting from around after they revealed quan Chi up until they revealed Kung Lao and he's my most used character and I didn't even get excited for him. Only reason I came back because I was told by a friend Fujin was being heavily hinted at and showed in the comic.

Honestly man? build a bridge and get over it the 3D is mediocre at best the original trilogy is where the moneys at. As a longtime MK fan I know this and have accepted it as the MK creed. Would Havik, Kai, Fujin & Dairou be cool? Hell yeah but I won't be salty if a single 3D era character makes it in the game other than Quan Chi and Kenshi.

Mortal kombat has sold on 32.5 units worldwide and has released more games than gta. Gta has sold 185 million world wide. Gta 5 alone probably outsold the whole series. Try again. Mk is popular though.

I'm really hoping it turns out to be a variation trailer and not just a render. The thing I'm most excited to see is how he looks, if it is indeed Reptile, but I'd like to see him in action.
Assuming the IGN reveal is Reptile then, I guess the character with the bow or staff or whatever is the Thursday stream reveal.

As of now it looks like one won't make it in. Even shinnok looks unlikely.

Good to know. I'd hate for a reveal to be wasted with just a render and an article on the character's history or something.

Ed Boon did say that we'd get two different videos, if the stream is one, IGN must have a reveal trailer.

I'm refreshing the IGN homepage every 2 minutes. Very excited to see Reptile's design this time around. It's always interesting to see what direction they take with his look. I'm one of the minority that prefer MK4 Reptile in both look and story. He actually looked intelligent and dangerous and his bio made him sound vicious:

A general in Shinnok's Army of Darkness, Reptile once belonged to an extinct race of reptilian creatures. He was banished to the Netherealm for committing genocide against several species. Responsible for the death of millions, Reptile is a dangerous ally to the forces of evil.

Wiping out entire species on his own and he actually had a solid motive for serving Shinnok. He wanted Shinnok to restore his realm to how it was before the extinction of his race. I find this Reptile to be much more interesting than primitive looking post MK4 Reptile tongue

Nope it's not on GTAs level of popularity,

But it will still Probebly sell more than MK4, MKDA & MKD combined did

And you love that MK4-MKD era

So do I but I'm not going to cry and boycott MKX purely because reptile is in it
