i think Liu Kang should return in the next game as an Half-God, Half-Human, and Half-Edenian in next game

and i'm thinking about a son from liu kang and kitana from the future to appear the next game.

I'd prefer Liu Kang stay dead and not come back at all.

And if he is to return, I very much hope he and Kitana have nothing to do with one another anymore.

Half Human, half god and half Edenian?
One hell of a man as there are two halfs in a whole.
Talk about two and a half men!

Well, if you want MK's story to go further down the drain, then it's a great idea.

What do you mean by "the same way"?

Some people prefer the finer things in life. I'm alright just hangin' out with the ghost of Vincent Price.

Better yet he should return as one half man, one half bear, and one half pig.grin

The problem lies within the mentality to replace one new main protagonist with another. It pretty much continues the cycle of forcing new main protagonist characters on others. Liu Kang's time is over, because his story has been drawn out enough as it is.

your right

i guess i've gone too far... but Liu's my hero!

the legacy must have a new hero somehow... maybe an edenian knight? or another warrior?

Liu Kang should remain out of the Mortal Kombat roster. His story is done. There should be a new supreme warrior now. I always thought Kung Lao would be the next in line, but he never really was a large character in any game.

My opinion of Kung is that he shouldnt have come back. But he has, and if he doesnt end up dead he will be a good canidate for champion of earthrealm. If he is then Kai should be his #2 guy because of ties to the White Lotus. But as for Liu I think he will finally be put to rest.
Sub-zero is also a canidate. But I think this will only happen if Noob is main threat.
Taven will probably be a God, so I dont think he will be the main good guy. Plus I hate him.

Not necessarily. Assuming Noob Saibot even comes back...Sub-Zero can move to main event stories (which I think he should), while someone like Sareena can deal with Noob Saibot (which I would prefer).

And even if it doesn't happen that way, who's to say Sub-Zero can't be the "main hero" while also having to deal with his brother?

I think Noob has too much going for him to die off. It is possible for Sub to fend off Noob while going after the main threat. But knowing how the mk team operates, they dont usually like to split the main guy over two different struggles.
As for Sareena, I want her to join Sub. But Id rather her let Sub be Noobs main road block.

I say he should come back. He's still the champion. Why does everybody want to get rid of him so much?

He's a bland, poorly developed, and overused character who has had his run. Why bring him back when it's only going to drag him further?

Him being the Champion of Mortal Kombat doesn't mean much, especially since his soul can't stay in the living realms forever. Let me ask you something. Just what makes Liu Kang worthy of returning, in your opinion?

Strictly speaking, I wouldn't say Liu Kang even has a storyline. Why does he hate Shang Tsung, or why does he love Kitana? Neither question was ever really explained unless you count the first movie, and even then it's pretty predictable.
