I never said he was a big secret boss. I meant he's a story mode unlockable I'm betting.

That's what I'm saying, though - the story mode unlockable is most likely the final boss. I mean, it has to be, right?

And as we all know, the final boss is supposed to be a "surprising returning character". Shinnok is anything but surprising. They're not hiding him in any way, you don't even have to wait for half a game to see him in action like you did with Shao Kahn in MK9 - hell, he's the guy you fight at the end of the first goddamn chapter.


Point is, I'm almost positive that Shinnok will be selectable from the get-go, just like he was in MK4.

That means that the (supposedly unlockable) final boss is someone else.

They wouldn't do a stream breakdown of a secret character, so it's not Shinnok. Hoping for Reiko, Havik, or Fujin.

After today, I'm leaning towards Havik being the unlockable. 90% of every kharacter we've seen in the comic/game has been confirmed or deconfirmed. The only ones that are still up in the air are Reiko/Havik

I guess Liu Kang is not a Fire God, so it looks like he wont be the Big Bad or the UnLockable. Im thinking we fight a Super Shinnok at the end. Reiko and/or Noob Saibot as the UnLockables.

For me, its easily now down to 3 characters: Havik, Reiko, and Shang Tsung. (possibly noob too I guess)

And i think they love Shang Tsung too much not to inlcude him in some surprise way. So he is where I am putting my money.

My heart wants Havik tho.

How would Liu Kang be a god?

Two of the MK2011's endings implied that Liu would take over Raiden's responsibilities after Raiden's incompetence. I was really looking forward to seeing Kang as a Fire god.

Oh well. This can only lead to Mokap being behind everything.

I really think we haven't seen any of the unlockables yet.

Hopefully there's atleast 2.

Well we know Havik would resurrect him when given the chance, if his Deception ending is anything to go by.

Maybe that's what he's intending to do either in the comics or in the game.

But I should stop. I'm scaring myself into thinking this is possible.

It's always a possibility, but an unlikely one. Havik seems too invested with the whole blood magik/blood god thingy. Besides, Shao Khan's soul now resides within Ermac.
