Nah, no friendships. What I want is double fatality system - when you're close, you can start a MK:A style fatality, and when on distance - an MK:D style fatality. So you're free to choose between "cinematic" fatality where character demonstrates his special abilities, and Kreate-A-Fatality system.
Oh, and Hara-Kiri. I really missed it in MK:A

- Weapons that do realistic damage. i hate stabbing my opponent thirteen times and all he gets is a bruise on his arm

- I want Gore!

- FMV at every opportunity

- Half decent lightning effects

- A good storyline that will reconcile what armageddon has done to the gaming world

- The Tournament to return

- Fatalities, Hara-Kiris, Stage Traps, Tiered stages.

- Boss AND Sub-boss

- New mini-games

- Free fall Kombat

- Mission-type mode
