Well, she is from Outworld. We dont know how age works there. She could be like Kitana and be thousands of years old. If she is Earth age, then Id say she is in her twenties.

After seeing her, I definitely hope she becomes DLC! Hopefully with enough fan support, she'll be in the next set of DLC.

Is it possible that the redesigned characters were all considered for the main roster but ultimately scrapped? Which would mean they might not end up as DLC but have more chance than the others since there's already work done on them. I'd really love Li Mei for DLC.

Doubt it. They normally decide on the roster before actual development. But with some characters playing intriguing roles in the story yet not being playable and characters that are basically glorified cameos making the cut- it does give you pause. I do believe Li Mei, Fujin, Rain and Baraka will wind up as DLC.

If I'm not mistaken Outworlders have ridiculous lifespans like Edenians. That's what I've always assumed. Li Mei could literally be Sonya's age but that could still make her seem like a youngster in Outworld/Edenian terms.

This also brings up another question. Are the human looking Outworlders actually native to Outworld or are they either Edenians or the descendants of Edenia? Are they an as of yet unnamed human like race from a long forgotten and conquered realm like the Oshtekk?
