Ferra is Little Lady. Torr is Brute.
Their names remind me of characters from Z-grade Italian/Spanish sword-and-sandals films of the 70s and 80s. That's a good thing.
If only Brute's name was Atorr.

I like the D'Vorah name.

Ferra/Torr is good too, but I wonder what it'll be referred to as on the select screen and by the announcer.

Funny enough we got 1/3 of those names lats night and didn't knowing. Going back, D'Vorah clearly says Ferra in her intro. lol

Well Noob/Smoke was referred to as Noob-Smoke by the announcer, so I'm assuming we'll get the same for Ferra/Torr

I have to admit, D'Vorah is growing on me, Ferra/Torr are still a bit iffy. Just need to get used to them I guess.

if it wasn't for the fact someone pointed that out I wouldn't know as Reiko sounds pretty masc to me.

But Ferra? Come on that's universally female.

I just imagined MK9's announcer saying "D'vorah" deepening on the O
And "Ferra Torr" deep on orr :P

Would love to know their story of how they know each other, but I get the feeling D'vorah kind of heard of them or saw them before while ferra hasn't.
Might explain why she called her "lady bug" .

I doubt it.

Torr seems intentionally bland. I think the announcer will just say Ferra. Also, it seems likely that only Ferra's name will be said as she appears to be the only one of the two with an acknowledged identity.

I think right now the biggest thing that bothers me about Ferra and Torr is Ferra's voice. It was only a 2 1/2 minute trailer and I wanted her to shut up. But I think as more is revealed I'll be fine.
