I didn't get excited for him like I did Mileena and Takeda. Mileena should have been the last character they played as in the stream cause she was too fucking awesome. Puts her MK9 iteration to shame.

Kung Jin had no moves that wowed me. His Xray and fatality were meh as well. I'll play him and give him a fair shot when I get the game but don't think I'll get won over.

I am a huge fan of archery and I really wanted Kung Jin to work with the fans of MK and stick around like Kung Lao did.

I didn't find a problem with him, I feel like he is a great and has potential and unique personality to him, he feels like Liu Kang and Kung Lao but in a different way.

Takeda,Cassie Cage have the same making jokes and funny comments personality, for Cassie it works but for Takeda it seems weird because his father is not someone with a sense of humour, not only that but he grew up with Scorpion, who doesn't joke at all.

I like his gameplay and his design, but my fears will come true in a year or two, he won't show up in the next game, not only that, he won't be in any of the games going 10 years forward :'(.

He did with me. I really liked his design and his gameplay. The only thing I didn't like was thinking where does this leave Nightwolf now?

He's legit. He'll definitely be a good matchup for erron.

I don't think Kung Jin is anything like Nightwolf, the only thing between Nightwolf and Kung Jin that's similar is the bow, but even when you look at that, both bows are different and Nightwolf isn't a character that's fully focused on archery, Kung Jin is heavy on archery with trick arrows(I love them, even though they are basically like Green Arrow's, well... Arrows).

So I don't think this hurts Nightwolf one bit.

Kung Jin's design seemed weird at first but after a while of looking at it, you kind of get used to it, I know I did.

Hopefully he will work, he is really the only new character that I think can end up being a fav of mine.

Gonna rip shit up with Bojutsu.

Other variations were okay, but really excited about them staff combos.

He's fun, he'S new. But meh, that's about it. For now. I don't think his inclusion was necessary.

However, the bow thig is new and fresh to the MK world. (Not to the Netherealm world since they kind tak Injustice "concpet" and apply it to MK)

I think he was kinda boring. Loving takeda moves tho. Probably be my main. I just don't like him but here hoping he gets a sick dlc costume and I can just ignore his personality. Mileena cool as always

Enjoyed Green Arrow in Injustice enough to give him a shot(HA!). Seems to be lacking in the personality department, but honestly, the same thing could be said of Takeda.

I wasn't impressed by Takeda, technically he could be really fun to use but visually his moves and looks are all over the place. What is he supposed to be, Jedi, Ninja, robocop thingy?

I also think his variations lower the chances of any cyborgs getting in.

I liked Kung Ji, he has the best design of the group, imo, and a bow man in MK seems fun and unique. His gameplay is pretty much what I expected it to be.

Sektor/Cyrax will probably NOT be in the game, I hope we at least get to know what the hell happens to those two characters.

I will probably end up hating Takeda for the same reason I hate Jarek.

Jarek replaced Kano in MK4.

Out of all the newbs I was most excited to see Kung Jin. I feel like Takeda (mmm taquitos) kinda took the spotlight away from him a bit since he seemed so cool and unique and has the best fatality since Ermac's second one. He also looks like he is gonna be high tier (its too early to tell I know, just sayin). Kung Jin on the other hand had a variation that is pretty much green arrow from Injustice and although in his other variations he had the same positives going for him as Takeda (mmm taquitos) in that they both have great reach on their normals, Takeda just looked stronger overall with more tools. I predict I'll be seeing a shit ton of little Taquitos online.

I still think Kung Jin looks cool tho and he'll for sure be one of the first new characters I try out. Hoping his arrow variation doesn't resemble Green arrow's play style too much, like going for quick little mix ups to set up the x-ray with kinda mediocre zoning. Although now that I think about his x-ray wasn't unblockable so I guess that rules out that aspect of it. He also doesn't have to take the arrow out and lose his ability to block. I wonder if he can delay firing it? Also this is random, but I feel like he kinda looks like a character out of Dynasty Warriors. Not complaining, just saying.

He's alright, but definitely not the star of the stream atleast in my opinion.

None can truly replace cyborgs though. It's a shame , so many humans and from SF, Cyrax could have been a part of the SF by now. Those flame-throwers on Jacqui made me feel bad for Sektor fans.

I must be in the minority then but I actually like Kung Jin better... I thought his design looked cooler and play style...not really feeling Tekeda that much but he's alright...

Well that's me thinking if they keep the variation system for future games that is. Before this the bow was firmly associate with Nightwolf and that would have been a very fitting variation for him but now it is Kung Jins primary weapon/gimmick.

Like Johnny and Cassie having attributes that are token of Noob Saibot and Sektor it really leaves you wondering how the other characters are going to recover if these are to be staple attributes to these characters now.

Granted Nightwolf still has his ties to the spirits that they could play up when he returns and his axes and his lightening but still.

I know they can't truly replace him forever, but he is replacing him in this AWESOME game :'(.

Jacqui will probably be my most hated if she truly has flame-throwers and actually shoots missiles from those things she is wearing on her hands.
