This. It's not about denial, it's about wanting proof. I dont get how any of this confirms Kuai Liang anymore than the other stuff did or did not. It's obvious they're still yanking our chains by continuously pointing out things that apply to both brothers, like being dead and/or corrupted and being Scopion's enemy.

Guys, if Bi-Han wasn't an earthrealm revenant, then why would he be resurrected after the NR war? Literally in-game dialogue and the comics refer to the revenants getting another go at life in reference to Sub-Zero. Also, even if Bi-Han somehow got resurrected too, they'd both be around. We have no reason to assume there are two Sub-Zeros. Occam's razor doesn't even entertain the idea of Bi-Han coming back to life for some completely out of left field reason other than the already established reason that the good guys came back.

I don't understand where it was confirmed to be Kuai Liang. All we see is an unmasked Sub-Zero with a scar.

I know in the original timeline that Kuai had the scar, but this is NOT the original timeline, if that's where yal are trying to say it's proof of Kuai Lang.

Didnt want a start a new thread, so can someone tell me how NRS cannot get one freaking Asian look right? The game is heavily inspired by Asian martial arts, culture and many like Sub-Zero have asian names, yet all of these characters look like Caucasians..

We have Kung Jin, Sub-Zero, Takeda, Scorpion, Kung Lao, Kitana possibly and maybe others I've missed? Kung Jin has a bit of an Asian look, Takeda looks the most like one, although Kung Lao at some angles as well. However, not one looks truly Asian.

I agree and miss Subz asian look from his MKII ending. One of my biggest disappointments with MK3 was that he looked like a random white dude. NRS can't really do faces honestly, even though these are a huge improvement from MK9.

Although I can't attach Bi-Han's face to that beard, he has a distinct Chinese taste to his face. This current Subzero does not.

To me, it is still a big "?" between the two brothers but I am leaning towards Kuai Liang.

Many people on MKO seem to be confused by the word "confirmed". Please, look up the meaning. This is not confirmed anywhere, at all. Stop being foolish.

It could be a MK9 sort of deal where we got the two Sub-Zeros in one slot as alt costumes (even with different models).

I'd laugh if he's possessed by bi-Han from the kamicurse. He goes schizophrenic and shouts random obscenities at scorpion.

Was just thinking about Subz alt costume. His beard might be a clue. His face under the mask, which we've seen from scorpions fatality, doesn't have the beard. This combined with the lack of his scar, might mean his masked outfit is either Bi Han or simply Kuai from another time in the story. I think it's worth noting Scorpion has his beard in both his newly revealed alt in the trailer and under his mask in his main.

While it's still up in the air, I think there's a good chance Sub-Zero might be Kuai Liang.

One of his intros against Scorpion have Sub-Zero saying, "I tire of maintaining OUR innocence." This leads me to believe it's Kuai Liang saying it because since he became Sub-Zero, Scorpion will probably place blame on him too which would make Kuai Liang speak for both himself and his brother.

If it was Bi Han, I don't know why he would vouch for Kuai Liang's innocence in killing Scorpion's family. Bi Han died before Kuai Liang became Sub-Zero, so if anything, he'll probably keep things between him and Scorpion based on their interactions from the past.

But this is only coming from the intro and hey, maybe both brothers will be in as Sub-Zero at some points in the game. Really can't tell too much but for now, I'm leaning towards Kuai Liang.
