Special forces tech probably restored his body or some magic involving him returning to his mortal form being able to remove the implants. Blah blah NRS put their tail between their legs with the back lash and just swept it under the rug.

And I wouldn't say he was corrupt. We never really heard much dialogue from Kuai in the previous time line. For all we know he could have always been a noble goodhearted asshole.
He wasn't exactly Mr.Nice guy in the previous game with him leaving Jax to bleed to death.

But then again who knows what being forced to obey Quan Chi and Shinnok does to one while they are forced to murder innocents and their comrades.

I would suspect the ordeal would leave one feeling pretty jaded.

Why do we think this subby is Kuai?

We knew months ago that the Subby in MKX had a scar and we knew months ago that the Subby in MKX had that Outfit.

This Sub-Zero still seems like an ass to his allies. I don't think the more friendly Kuai Liang would tell Cassie and her group they weren't welcome at his temple.

Also agree. The brothers could still be switched, but it sure is looking like Kuai. He looks awesome regardless! Also, the Lin Kuei look amazing. I love how they swarm Cassy and company at the beginning. They don't look like cyborgs so perhaps Sub was able to restore them in addition to himself.

I'm not so up in arms about it as a proud Classic Sub-Zero team representative, not so sure about the opposing sides if the shoe is on the other foot however.

I'll just say maybe the brothers share the same voice actor now.

It does seem to lean more towards Kuai than Bi-Han but I'm still not positive it is.

Kuai is one of the good guys, but more of . Looks like the two poster ninjas both got manly beards too. He looks younger than he did from Deadly Alliance on, especially with that ridiculous "hair" in his Deception alt.

I'm a Bi-Han fan. I already knew this was Kuai-Liang since the very first trailer. Boon just gave another reason for people to talk about the game. I laughed when people took it serious about there being a sea of sub-zeros. That was an obvious lie. Everything was pointing to Kuai-Liang since this game takes place after MK9. Its Kuai-Liang. Deal with it.
