I too have to wonder why Rain is so widely accepted but Tremor gets crucified everytime someone mentions him. Rain is a goddamn Prince reference, I will never be able to get over that hurdle. Tremor may have come from a shit game, and the main reason people want him is because he a ninja. But so what? He could very well be great.

Rain has yet to impress me and he's been around a lot longer.

I agree on the Rain part. He started as, is and will always be just a JOKE character to me.
Though Tremor is no better.

Rain had the time to grow. He started out as a joke, but he's become a character of his own. He has alot more going on for him than just the Prince joke thing.

When looking past the joke, there's alot more to him then you guys give him credit for. Tremor on the other hand... does not.

Exactly. No one is willing to give Tremor that chance to grow. Who's to say Tremor couldn't be a good character if he was given the chance?

And really when you break down Rain's character, it's not even close to good. He's an arrogant, power hungry coward. It's deeper than the Prince joke but that's just as bad if you ask me.

I'm just stating what Rain's character is. And also pointing out the hypocrisy in being okay with a character who has had time to grow and shunning a character who just hasn't had that chance. I could see if Tremor was in a major MK game and played terribly, ugly design, and had a dumb personality. Then go ahead and shun the shit outta him.

Rain was in UMK3 and Defenders of the Realm cartoon show where he had a past with Kitana. Rain was the most requested character in MK9 from the MK community, Tremor was part of the same poll. I'll tell u the results starting from Tremor and all people that beat him.

The whole point is that they both have humble beginnings to say the least. The only difference is that one of them got a real chance and the other didn't. Do you honestly think that if Tremor had been in UMK3, that people would still have this negative opinion of him? I think you kinda helped make my point here. People gave Rain a chance, why not Tremor?

and with ppl bringing up that hes likely for DLC. again, need i remind that Skarlet was the least sold DLC?? they'd be dumb to use another new face/character ppl don't know as DLC.... they want DLC that will sell well.
