Ya know even though all don't want Tremor back, perhaps there's a chance for NRS to make new characters and one of them should use earth abilities.

Shinnok should also be aware that his amulet was switched with a fake and Quan Chi holds the real one. Either Scorpion or Shinnok, Quan Chi deserves death.

Perhaps Havik can take over once the necromancer is gone.

And what of Liu Kang? If he won't come back in the next game, and better not be a zombie again, how will he return after 10?

I kinda hope Liu Kang comes back as a living, neutral, scarred, heavily burned character. It'd definitely be different for him and a nice change without him being undead.

I see a lot of people making theories, like how character X will do things from the old timeline, considering changes in MK9, which I find quite puzzling, to be honest.


I have a feeling (though I hope it's a false one), that NRS will "forget" about the whole amulet swapping thing.

I saw the want for Hotaru several pages back.

It pleases me that people want to see him return.

I made a poll which is on several sites with all these characters included to see who's popular and most requested. Even if characters are announced we still get to see how popular they are in the poll.

The list is for characters that haven't been in MK since Armageddon, but should make a comeback now. If there were truly characters that "sell games," they would've been in MK9, Can't have the same cast in every game.

For some reason Hotaru is one of my most wanted characters. I firmly believe Havik will be in the game and I guess it's just a yin and yang sort of thing.

[Tremor and Sareena?] How does everyone feel about these characters being in the new MK (even in place of a couple new characters?)

I think both characters have a lot of potential, especially Tremor, who I can see as a grappler Bane-like character with some very brutal x-rays and fatalities.

It's kinda insulting to Sareena to suggest her and Tremor are the same category of character. She's actually been in canon games as a playable character already, and has a semi-important backstory.

Yea Sareena actually has a good back story that has plenty of room for development. She has ties with Quan Ci, Noob, almost everything that has to do with the netherrealm. That doesn't mean that tremor doesn't deserve a chance tho. He did have a bio in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, but they used it for Rain for a brief time (or at least i think thats what happened).

Why not both? Fans have been asking for Sareena for ages and her story can fit right in. Tremor would be cool as well.

I know I may be in the minority here... but the character who I think is ready for a come back is..

If we are talking about a character not fully utilized to their potential then he fits the bill. I didn't like his look in Deadly Alliance. Id like to see him more aflame with better animation. More like a Human Torch. Add a better move set and you have a much more interesting Character. He is one character that was around during Mortal Kombat 2 that wasn't mentioned in the previous game... I always found his back story to be interesting and I'd like to see it played up again.

Li Mei lives in Outworld. Shinnok mentioned that he and Quan Chi were going after Earthrealm and Outworld. I'm sure she'd want to defend her home and become an ally to the forces of light

Sareena has so much potential, she alone blows away half of MK's female cast. I'd be extremely saddened if she's left out. I really hope she finally gets the treatment she deserves in this game.

Tremor? There's a lot more characters I'd like to see over him. But if he made it he's sure to have an awesome look and style, so I'll be fine. I just think he would be better suited as being one of the sure to follow DLC characters for MK10.

Sareena yes. She's my favorite female character in MK and she is oozing with potential. Considering she had ties with Quan Chi and Shinnok in MKM: SZ I can see her being in.

Now for Tremor, three things can happen.
A.) He appears in the initial roster
B.) He won't be in the initial roster but will appear later as DLC.
C.) He won't appear at all

Tremor. Yes! Absolutely. So much potential. Plus, he's a palette swap "ninja" by design and I love the palette swaps. I want to see him as part of the main roster. But DLC if nothing else. And because Tremor was playable in the PS Vita's Bonus Challenge Tower, I'm hoping that boosts his chances of making the roster this time.

Sareena. Yeah, I'm game.

Sareena should appear, alongside Kia and Jataaka as cameos in the story. Wonder what she's gonna look like.

I've fallen in love with the idea of Sareena's moveset blending aspects of a "demon form" into her normal attack strings. This idea was cemented even more after playing Injustice.
