This thread has narrowed your choices to a select few that has been the most requested/talked about.

Of the choices provided, I voted for Fujin, Reiko, Frost and New Character.

Now if I wanted to go by the thread title and answer that question to my own satisfaction, I'd pick Fujin, Reiko, Sareena and Baraka.

Oh and what the hell... If there's a third pack: Tasia, Smoke, Kabal and Bo Rai Cho.

Any combination of Havik, Reiko, Sareena, Bo Rai Cho, Fujin, Li Mei, Baraka, and Ashrah

Holy crap. Super smash bros is having people vote for there dlc. Nrs needs to do this.

It's clearly no secret that, while still a week away from it's full launch, many are being quite vocal about their issues with the final build of the game. Close to the top of that list is the final roster and lack of unlockable "secret" characters.

We already know Tanya, Tremor & unfortunately yes, two guests characters Jason & Predator are taking the first 4 spots. Yes they look cool. However, only half of the DLC are actually related to the MK universe. Unless you count Goro too, but he's a launch character just to make us pre-order.

With that said, who do you REALISTICALLY expect to show up throughout the MKX life cycle as DLC? Assuming it's another 4 characters, presumably in a second Kombat Pack. These are my predictions:

Fujin - An integral part of the beginning of the game. Quite shocking to most not playable from the start of the game or at any time in the game itself. Almost everyone want's him. A model of sorts for him exists, so no need to build him from scratch.

Rain - Highly criticized about not being on the roster after demand for him during MK9. However, he is in the game's story and as an NPC with a full playable model. Most if not all love his MKX design and want him playable. Another character they would not have to create from scratch. He's so close you can feel the drops of rain.....why not?

Frost - Surprisingly to me, one of the most requested females. I can easily see her being DLC with so many wanting her. I'd personally love to see her back. We are lacking females so more would be great to have. I wish there could be even more, but chances are we would probably have no more than one female per pack.

Spawn - Unfortunately, though a very cool character in his own right, chances are we would get at least one other guest character and based on news/rumors Spawn would be the one. Like MK9 & Injustice, it would be nice is NR had more faith in their own characters and had no more than 1 guests. But it is what it is and they clearly like to have them now.

So those are my predictions!
Even if none of the above appear as DLC in the next group, I still believe if enough of us players are consistently vocal we have a VERY good chance of still getting those like Rain & Sindel. They HAVE full models already set to go. Spruce them up and add the finishing details and you have fully playable great kombatants. Nothing has to be created from scratch. It would be unfortunate for us to miss out on them when they are so close to us that we can kick their ass, but not quite close enough to play as. If we want them, why not deliver what's right there existing at their fingertips?

I have a feeling they've set Li Mei up to be future dlc with that awesome detailed outfit they've given her. She looks great, too good to be just a npc cameo.

Rain, Li Mei, Fujin and Baraka would be my guesses for dlc round 2.
