When I saw Cassie all I could think of was. "Sonya got caged!!" Lol and all seriousness though I love Johnny his been my main since day 1 and I know this won't be goodbye but I do hope that his daughter will be an awesome character to play and be a smart ass too ;)

History Boring or Not

Sonya have her history in Mortal Kombat, was the first female and many things more....

And I do not think right now she is replaced now by another character, even though this is her daughter...I do not care.

But I can not do anything, only hope in future Sonya Blade back again a playable character in Mortal Kombat.

My guess is she'll have Sonya's brawler/gymnastic cop-style take down moves with Cage's green aura on her fists and maybe feet. She's definitely part of the special forces or a cop by her badge and outfit. I hope she has a style of Sonya's rings mixed with Cage's green plasma ball.

boon said the story spans from right after the events of mk9 until 25 years after that which im guessing given that johnny and sonya were 2 of the handful of survivors at the end of mk9 that they should be playable, and that cassie will most probably be introduced at the end of the main story so she can at least hit 25 before she springs into action.. here's hoping anyway, johnny's my favourite character hands down and id be very upset if he wasnt playable.. if theyre not in the main build maybe dlc?

So if I was understanding him properly, Maximilian_DOOD got his hands on MKX and Cassie Cage apparently is pretty reminiscent gameplay wise to Deathstroke in Injustice and her x-ray involves some literal ball busting. lol She apparently pistol whips you in the jaw and then you see actual muscle testicles explode LOL She's apparently a pretty good combination of Cage/Sonya, she's stoic like Sonya and exudes cockiness like Cage, constantly blowing bubbles throughout the match with bubblegum. It sounds fucking awesome.

Ballbuster is in place, and it smashes the actual testicles into the body. My guess is that it's an X-ray. They mentioned that the female genitalia is also modelled, but cleverly hidden.

I'm actually completely fine with that. I've met girls before, that looked exactly like their mothers. Just like exact clones. It was creepy. But that's genetics for ya.

her X-ray is pistol whipping you in the face with the butt of the gun's handle so hard it breaks your jaw. if you are a male, she follows up with a groin attack which destroys and rips the muscle tissue and your balls.

I just can't wait to see some of her gameplay. While part of me wishes she was getting her own moveset all across the board, a Cage/Sonya moveset combination has too much potential for me to overlook.

I wouldn't mind seeing this. Something else to think about, she could still look youthful in her 50's, depending on her genes and whether she takes care of herself. Look at Christie Brinkley. I'm still hoping Sonya is playable in the next game.

As much as I like Sonya, with Cassie playable, she would just be redundant...I can see an older Johnny being playable however.

Sonya would've probably been promoted to a general or some shit by then. She'll probably be around, just not fighting.

I'm sure him will change in the next MK whole story again to bring back the most part of old characters...

Let's see how many new characters of this MK X will survive for the next games or will disappear as happened with the most part of characters from MK4 /MK DA / MK D.

They will not change the favorites of the fans after 20 years, and favorites are and will remain the characters from the first 3 games.

Even they changed the story a thousand times.

Not necessarily. A person can change a lot in 2 decades. We also didn't need palette swap ninjas that were every color of the rainbow. But we still got them.

Whilst initially I was dissapointing to hear Sonya was being replaced with Cassie, it is a natural progression for her storyline especially one that involves a future time period.

However, I still am holding out some hope that Sonya will be in the game Cassie doesn't have Sonya's trademark moves ie the leg grab and rising bicycle kick and Ed has hinted at performing fatalities on family members might be a possibility, sh here's hoping.
