I'm not going to lie, the idea of Johnny & Sonya being in this game a long with Cassie is a pretty annoying image.

Cassie herself seems like the fan fiction creation of some 14 year old kid. A few months ago if someone would've came on this site and said "One of the new characters in the next MK game is named Cassie Cage and she's the daughter of Johnny & Sonya!" we would've called bullshit because it sounds so damn corny.

I kinda like Cassie Cage, but only because I suspect she will get rid of Sonya and Johnny Cage in one big hit!

If they are still there next to their daughter (but looking older) and MIleena, Rain, Tanya and others are out i'm going to cry like in a babality...

Johnny Cage as order god (like in his ending) would be fun, but sonya should be old, and cheering for her daughter in the storymode for all I care.

This! I think both Cage and Sonya would definitely be taking up spots for other characters. I might can get on board with just one of them being present. The other can stay in story mode or be DLC for all I care.

But it would be really insane if they made up Cassie, give them fighting styles based on both parents and then also put in both of the parents with the same abilities and fighting styles

I don't think Cage or Sonya are going to be in MKX, despite Boon saying "what will we do about relative fatalities." Boon is smarter than that, and he loves tripping people up. He knows people will read into everything he says and said that intentionally.

We might get Sonya, but not Johnny.
Cassie feels like a mix between Johnny and Stryker. But not Sonya....

I'd be onboard with Jax as Cassie's mentor. Out of the entire cast of the Earthrealm warriors, I think he's got the potential to look the best 25 years down the line, and play completely different. Hope he's back.

I do hope Kano is back in his computer-virus form, so maybe Jax should be there too.

Well get used to it. Enjoy Devorah's first appearance because she will probably get cut after X like most non classic chars, while Vcafe and Sonya keep coming back forever. They're first class wether people like it or NOT!

Actually I think these new characters may be here to stay. At least that's what I'm feeling. These aren't the Kobras and Jareks of days past.

So your precious Sonya may not be as safe as you think. Nobody except Scorpion and Sub-Zero are promised when it comes to the future of MK.
