Cyrax is a cyborg. Kai is Hispanic.

Kai is black, Ed Boon stated it in his Armageddon trading card video. And Hispanic is technically not a race. Neither is Cyborg.

Because it practically is. I consider it to be a race, but there's a ton of people out there who will argue you down that it's not. There's actually on going debates about rather or not it should be listed as an option on census records.

How would having no black people mean they're racist? They have Jade who is dark skinned, they have Chinese fighters, even the "white" fighters have other ethnicities in them. They don't need to add a black character, but the way you're putting it is racist. Just think about what you're talking about. I'm Palestinian and i'm not upset if they don't add an Arab to the game. So why the fuck would you bring Jax's race into play? Because he's black? Are black people the only people that can feel racism? Should black people be added to everything to you? I could be wrong, but people do tend to refer those as black.

Kai is African American (unless (if he's coming back) they retcon it.) I think in the whole MK4 lore, Liu Kang recruited Kai in America.

Cyrax's homeland is given in MK9 as Botswana, which is in Africa.

And Kai's never been given a canon one but an MK4 strategy guide said Detroit, making him African-American.
