Jarek, along with most of the new kharacter in MK4(that HORRIBLE game), besides my girl Tanya, Reiko and Quan Chi, were pretty bad and lame. Jarek, which was just a ripoff of Kano and Sonya, Shinnok, a bad clone of classic Shang Tsung but without the fireball, Kai, who didn't really offered much, Fujin, well, though highly requested, to me, he wasn't that special.

Especially, Jarek. He was pretty much forgettable, and I wasn't big on his own specials come MKA either. They should have done a way more in order to improve this character, but it was just not enough.

Though any kharacter(s) can get improved, Jarek is one character whom I don't really expect much of.

I feel like Jarek could have been good, but ended up being a Kano ripoff. Id definitely rather have a revamped Kira. But i didnt mind Jarek's special moves in Armageddon. But Kira first.

I like a smart mouth sarcastic Jerek, cracking inappropriate jokes, being instigating to everyone even his friends, I always viewed him as such since Mk4
That primp he has on his face and that patch on his chiny chin chin gives off a good indicator too.

His specials could be something related to whips, ropes and boomerangs with razor edges, perhaps some hand to hand specials too like grapples that involves him getting on the opponent and bashing their heads on the floor repeatedly followed with a spit on the downed opponent.

Just like Hsu Hao, he can become the next best character, all he needs is some effort put into him. And his personality fleshed out alone might win him over in us fan's good graces.

You can say he is like the Nega Johnny Cage.
