For the record, if one were to do an MK4 remake and intended to revamp Jarek into a character that isn't a clone, the obvious route is to build upon the lasso move Armageddon gave him and the fact that his face is modeled after a developer named Sanchez, and make him a character from the American southwest or Mexico who likes old west/cowboy shit.

It would make for a perfect excuse to why Cassie is in the game in MKX.

Rather that than just have Cassie go for the Black Dragon or whatever, simply because her mother did it. I prefer my characters to have personal reasons for fighting instead of "just because" or "do it for all things good in the world"...

The Jarek revamp is a neat idea, but I just don't think there's any room for him in MKX. Only if NRS has a mission statement to include EVERY MK4 newb. Becuz let's be honest, he simply isn't as KooL as Fujin, Reiko, QuanChi, or Tanya. I suspect just a cameo in the story mode.

Ok, when I come with an idea of Giving Jarek Tremor's powers nobody agrees and its silly, but now Casselman said the same thing and then people start to agree.

And I hope Jarek/Tremor and Kano are both in the game (Kano as unplayable computer-virus giving Jarek/Tremor his missions, and maybe even his cannonball in earth-style), and then they both kill Sonya Blade in a horrid way, torture has never been so vile.

That's because people don't like you. I told you how your attitude on here would affect people.

Revenge plots are just convenient ways to make a 'storyline' for a character.

They give the character a backstory (this person wronged me) and then give them a purpose (now i must make them pay).

Like. That's it. That's a revenge plot. It's that simple.

Let's have our MKX characters have real stories please. Let's hope Cassie doesn't need revenge against anybody.

I've been rooting for Jarek/Tremor for a few months now. The MKO community has to grow on eachother. Being respectful and open-minded always helps. Give it time.

Making Jarek just "the guy on the cast with earth powers" would be a shame, playing up the lasso or his possible hispanic side for kind of an old west bandito-gunslinger look has more potential content to offer, I think.

I can understand wanting to have a character with earth powers, but I still don't care much for Tremor.

I wouldn't like Jarek as laso-latino, I would like it if he replaced Tremor.

The brownish pants and Rhino-Move just make it fit.

They should re-create him entirely, just like they did with many ninja's and Mileena in Mk9.

Mileena wasn't entirely recreated. All her old moves were intact.

Mavado.

Mavado is more of a conquistador from actual Spain, going by his alt costume. Plus his fighting style already has a theme, being all about grappling hooks.

The Old West Cowboy thing I'm suggesting here wouldn't fit him at all.
Not to mention that considering we have more than one Black guy and half the cast is Asian, I think we can afford more than one Latino.



Nobody was "recreated", every character in MK9 has all of their classic moves. Even Kenshi, who had to be converted from 3D to 2D for the first time, kept everything he used to do in Deception, albeit he did gain a couple of new tricks too on top of them. So I don't know what D'Vorah's talking about here.

Also, Jarek's pants were green, not brown.

I would love to see Jarek back! I loved him in MK4, but it might just be because I found his model to be very handsome.

But I think he has just as much potential as any other MK4 character. His new moveset in MKA suited him well. But let's bring back the buzz cut/goatee hottie look!

I would love Jarek back as well. I could picture him being a Southerner, similar to how I picture Mavado as a Spanish person (that's due to the fact that his original name, "Malvado", means "evil" in Spanish, and to a lesser extent, the fact that he was originally gonna be a matador-type character).
