I, like many others, really dislike Jarek. I think he's a very bland character, basically a poor man's Kano without the cool cyborg eye and even less personality.

But today I was thinking about something that could redeem him if he's going to be included in the game just for the sake of including MK4 characters:

With the 3 styles per character thing, I got the idea that he could be shown to be the last survivor from the Black Dragon, and either because they taught their young member their techniques, or because he's a jerk and betrayed them to steal from them, make his 3 styles based on each Black Dragon member seen in Special Forces.

This way Jarek would get Kano's default moves as he was his pupil, and then he could have a Katana's style based on Tasia's training, a flamethrower style based on No-Face's techniques, and Tremor-like powers (they would need to explain how he can use them, if it's a technique that can be taught or it's done with technology).

This way you get the one-man Black Dragon Swiss Knife (butterfly knife?), you get lore mentions of all those characters not good enough to make the cut, but that are remembered by some fans (specially Tremor) and you make a totally bland character a very versatile character.

This, along with a new look, more dark spec ops and less "I'm a completly random bland dude", could help revamp Jarek.
