Metallica was definitely one of them that I remember you listing.
You also said Judas Priest.
Never heard them before until you recommend it, but so far I got one favorite song. "Alone".

To be fair guys, a lot of those questions people asked him that you are claiming he backtracked on or contradicted himself roster wise, were simple "is ______ in MKX?" not "Is ______ playable in MKX?"
There's a difference.
Regardless, I'm hoping his roster list is incorrect, and the information he was given was earlier in development, or not all accurate. Not a big fan of leaks and spoilers like that so far in advance, but to each their own.

See, Sonya is perfect DLC bait though. Her and Shang Tsung both.

JamesMK you tolling is is just annoying and you have had to backpeddle many answers. Your info is fake and it will be proven on April 14. So happy trails and keep your lies to yourself.

This is perfect.
People are so desperate at this point that they're shitting their pants over everything that comes down the pike.

Kung Jin was the logical choice for the Bow Guy. We had a character without a name from Boon's hints of the bow guy, and a name without a character from the casting sheet. If you were going to name a character we already knew was in the game, it would be a logical choice to use a name we knew already.

Except the casting sheet had FOUR names....he got both, the name and the weapon of choice, right

Everyone was accounted for.
The bow guy definitely wasn't going to be Bo Rai Cho, D'vorah, Scorpion, Takeda, or Salazar (who was certainly Erron Black). That left Kung Jin and Ron Tan Cho, and I don't know any underground crime bosses that use bow and arrows as their weapon of choice. There was only one true option in that list.

Edit: JaymzHetfield beat me to it.
Salazar - "from Earthrealm ... [sells] his amazing weaponry skills to local warlords"
Clearly, they're talking about guns and Earthrealm tech, not archery.
Takeda - "world-class swordsman and he is adept at telepathy and telekinesis"
Self-explanatory. Not an archer.
Ron Tan Cho - "Underground crime boss ... enjoys toying with his enemies & seeing the fear on their faces."
Doesn't even remotely sound like an archer; archers stay distant.
Sounds more like a knife/sword guy.
Kung Jin - Shaolin monk. Trained by Bo' Rai Cho at the Wu Shi Academy (which has been shown to train w/ staves, nunchaku, polearms, and a bunch of other old world weaponry.) Archery isn't too big of a guess in that vein.
...
It wouldn't be a crazy jump to assume that the guy with the odd outfit and the bow and arrow seen in the tower is the only person who doesn't have a weapon type truly assigned to him by the casting sheet.
Kung Jin would be the only logical choice left.
Ron Tan Cho doesn't even remotely make sense as an archer, and Takeda and Salazar are described as being proficient in completely different weaponry.

That depends, are you saying these are just "predictions" or do you actually know something? That's the only difference. You said on your ask/twitter account that this was all legit, not just you making random guesses.
So I'm assuming people use the term "leak", because someone had to have leaked the info to you in the first place.

What's with all the hating in the forums lately? I think some people got some real personal issues with jamessmk.
If you can't handle some guy spreading rumors about a video game, then you probably won't get far in the REAL world. Anyone ever watched Twilight Zone: Monsters Are Due on Maple Street?
Whether he is telling the truth or not doesn't really matter anyway. MKX is coming up next month and we should all be happy this franchise is still continuing! We survived long enough to see MKX without devolving into an angry mob!

Lol very well said he with the name of a game I worked on
But, I will not say info was leaked or not was it random guessing. But I will say anyone could have come to same conclusion by looking at all the clues since day 1. But, people going to NRS people "tattling" Jamessmk is leaking info, is pretty sad. Specially when those same people will then PM me questions they want answers for. so for now let just see how accurate I am

Alright, that's a fair response.
Let me ask you this. Be it leaked or guessed, or somewhere in the middle... Is there any worth in hoping for a character to make the initial roster that isn't on your list, or are you that certain that list is 100% set in stone accurate? That's ultimately what everyone wants to know. Should one hope, or should one accept?
I don't give false hope, so I will say the roster is in stone. Unless NRS gets too pissed about roster, and makes 1 or 2 changes, but honestly I doubt it. They need to ship for final approval in days to get it out for April

That's what I figured. I was just curious how recent you came to this knowledge/conclusion, and if there was any chance of a change or alteration since. But if it was within the past month or 2, yeah, likely set in stone for sure.
It's an odd choice to leave out the likes of Cyrax, Smoke, Fujin, Reiko, Tanya, Bo, and Havik.
But I suppose that's mainly where DLC is coming into play. Odd indeed.
