Jade Confirmed (In Air Quotes)

So Ed just uploaded a pic of the Living Forest from MK2 on his feed. The only known inhabitants to be lurking there are Jade and Smoke and given Boon's previous ominous tweets (citing Beyoncé and Freddy Mercury of all people) I can pretty much confirm without reasonable doubt that Jade is definitely in MKX. Now with that settled...WTF IS SHE IN THE STORY FOR!? Last time we saw her she got her "guts" (a blob of blood) torn out of her abdomen by Sindel and left to be one of Quan Chi's Earthrealm slaves for auction. So there are two ways this might happen:

1) She's still under Quan Chi's control and fights for the Netherrealm. Ok so what about Kitana, Kung Lao, Jax, Smoke, Sindel and the others?

2) The best scenario: Jade BREAKS out of the Netherrealm (maybe with some help from Sareena if she gets confirmed) possibly along with some other former heroes, collects recon from the Netherrealm, teleports back to Earthrealm, gives the info to the new Earthrealm heroes, and joins the battle. Great character development from her (ahem) PREVIOUS appearance

I think she needs a new voice actress given that her performance was not very memorable as say Karen Strassman's Kitana and Mileena plus it can give her a more complex personality. Also the clothes. Before people are going to say "You femi Nazi! Edenian women are supposed to dress elegantly in battle! How dare you shove your opinion down male gamers' throats!", but hear me out. You can still be feminine yet you can also wear clothing appropriate for constant combat especially convert operations. Two previous costumes that come close to mind are Jade's MK3 and alternate Deception costumes. There is no need for her to dress like a bikini model in a fighting game.

Plus if she's confirmed could that mean Tanya might not be far behind? I am very happy and eager to see these two go head-to-head and make a much more memorable and interesting rivalry than say...clueless princess Kitana and childish teddy bear-holding Mileena from MK2011.

Overall I am happy and confident that Jade is in MKX and I look forward to her trailer debut plus her new appearance.

What do Beyoncé and Freddy Mercury have to do with Jade?

Yes it may be likely Jade is in, but can you not state it as blatant fact? I assumed you had a picture or something very substantial.

I do think it is very likely, considering:

+ Ed Boon's hints on Twitter pointing to her

+ Jade being to most requested character by Brazilians during the exhibition of MK9 @ the Brazilian Game Show 2010 (according to Sanchez at the 12:45 mark here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55aSaW1zzmI)

+ The Brazilian Game Show taking place at the same general time of the month as the previous three reveals - with Ed Boon confirmed to be attending, according to the translated BGS site.

I'm willing to bet money on her reveal at this point. And I'm generally not a betting man.

Definitely change this title because its very misleading, made me assume that Jade had been officially confirmed. I would love for Jade to be in MKX but well have to wait and see.

There are many characters I want to see from the MK4-MKA era. HOWEVER, Jade is my second favorite only behind Sub-Zero and if she is revealed I will be appeased until release. Everyone else is just icing on the cake.

Yes, we get it, the title is misleading.

If anyone bothered to check, the user is not online at the moment. The guy probably will change the title once he logs back in.



But since this is clearly nothing but a speculation, I really don't want Jade to return. If she does, and I said this before, I don't want her saying the word "easy" at all, not even once.

Very stupid of me because I backed up my claim with data? Ok pal provide me with another alternative claim that refutes my claim with premises backing it up. I'll just be hanging on a hammock in some secluded beach bored while "hardcore" MK fans are being typically outraged over what people's predictions about the next game. I usually don't post predictions, but if enough hints are revealed this was something I could not ignore.
There are indeed a lot of hints that Jade could possibly be the next reveal. I kind of believe she has a bog chance though, especially because people are guessing the next reveal will be in Brazil, where Jade is the all-time favorite.

This. I get speculation for this game, but using a title like this sounds kinda arrogant to me. It insinuates, at least to me, that your guess is 100% going to be reality. So yeah, change it to indicate that it's going to be speculation, and i'm sure people will be more happy with you. tongue

I ADORED her MK9 primary. That's one of the main reasons why I'm excited at the possibility of her returning as I know NRS will create another awesome outfit for her.
