It's not out of the realm of possibility, but what would be this lady's big motive in terms of where the story is headed? That I don't know.

I think if this were to happen, they would have to make a new character out of it, like reptile and Onaga.

But see look at some of these comments, that's EXACTLY what they would want. Like yeah it could never be, but what if never be actually is?

She may not look "intimidating" in MK9, but they could change that in a sec. She doesn't have to be big and monstrous to be intimidating. I'm not saying she will be the boss, but in the realm of odd possibility, she could have a sliver of a chance. Again, why hasn't she been shown as a revenant while the others have?

Well, she was kind of a secret boss in MKII so who knows lol.

In general though she's probably off revenanting with Kitana which is why we don't see her.

Also she kind of needed to be deconfirmed because of the mournful variation and all.

Jade was perfect in MK9.

My only complaint was her pole dance win pose.

In b4 she was a product of Kitanas imagination created cuz Kitana felt lonely and needed a friend and she never actually existed. Her mournful variation is Kitana finally letting go of her imaginary friend... Or Kitana has multiple personality disorder...

When they "deconfirmed" her I felt like they're saying she won't be in the game at all. Still didn't see anything from her besides the weapons that now are Kitana's.

I am not expecting her to be in this game. I won't dismiss altogether. We got one slot left on the select screen and still not 100% sure answer on who the big bad is.

That's still so strange to me though. I would think she could have easily replaced a character like Stryker as revenant fodder.

That'd be strange. But it is weird that we've seen every other revenant except for her. There's definitely something they're hiding about Jade, no question. But what exactly that is....hmmm....

Personally, I think she was revived with Jax and is Jacqui's mother. It's either her, Tanya, or some random NPC....and given that they probably wouldn't be so hush if Jacqui's mother is some random NPC, I'm leaning towards Jade.

I could see the unexpected boss angle also working, though. The Mysterious Woman did say that Shao Kahn's death was an event that must be re-imagined. In Quan Chi's Fortress we see Shao Kahn's armor and hammer, and a large body being formed in a blood pool in a background. Perhaps Shao Kahn is being revived, and the Mysterious Woman is working with Quan Chi through Jade. I don't see this being likely, though. Fire God Kang was mentioned in two endings, and nothing happened from that.

Jade was seen as a revenant in MK9. I was hoping she would have at least gotten a cameo in this game, Sindel is in there, where's Jade? NRS knows they can't just leave Jade's cult fans hanging like that. She'll probably be in Kitana's arcade ending.
