here's why: Cassie also says that Jacqui did not inherit Jax's bionic arms while she DID get the shadow kick. That sounds like a daughter comparing herself to another daughter. The reason why she calls him "Uncle Jax" is simple and straight forward: Jax is a very close family friend of the Cages, and is like an uncle to her.

I'm surprised by how confused people are by Cassie calling Jax uncle.

Based on what we know about Sonya's history with Jax, Jax is "like an uncle" to Cassie.

This MKX game needs to have AT LEAST 30 kharakters... with all these relatives getting involved in all the disasters, from all those realms.

Clearly its Jax daughter and Cassie just calls him Uncle Jax because he's close friends with Sonya. I can't tell you how many Aunts I had from my moms friends that had no actual relation to me. Thats how we americans are but I can understand the confusion by some.
